if i made a whey shake around 9:30, would it be alright to carry it around with all day lets say until 5:30. ive heard it can go bad really quick. i leave may house at 9:30 and dont get home until 7:30 twice a week, i need may blended whey.

yo tray, i take mine w/ me on monday's and fridays...cause of class and practice and shit...not much time to eat those days...better use water or fruitpunch w/ them though. Milk will get bad...I've also found that by putting 4 scoops of favorite whey in a zip-lock baggy has helped me out a lot...just bring your scooper, a cup, and find a bathroom for the water!! Works pretty good...try it and let me know what you think!!

The shake still works with water. Don't have to use milk. I got a sweet little hand powered blender invented by ron popeil so i can blend them wherever i want to. The milk would go bad if you carried it around all day. It'd be fine to do it with water though. I've never let a shake sit long enough to see... is it in solution or suspension?

Milk is the best. Just keep it in a little cooler with an ice pack. It should stay good. Otherwise, who cares. You won't get sick. If it goes bad, jsut plug your nose and down it for the protein.

igloo? now why didnt i think of that? dammit. j/k. actually i saw skip lacour on a plane a few years ago and he had a HUGE igloo cooler full of goodies. it was pretty funny to A) see him try to sit in a COACH seat! and B) grubbing all of that food....in a COACH seat. so the igloo thing is do-able. oh yeah if youre gonna use milk...or if you finish your protein...by all means dont forget about the bottle. what i mean is dont forget to wash it out immediately. nothing like opening that bottle at the end of the day and thinking that your bottle got more growth out of the protein than you did. =P funny all the lengths we go through to grow, but thats the nature of the beast! eat lift grow, nothing else matters....well almost nothing

I make 6 shakes every morning before work and take them in a cooler. I use 1/2 pack met-rx 12-16oz. milk and 2 scoops Weight Gainer. It adds up to about. 800 calories per shake and still tastes good. I down them every 1-1/2 to 2 hours while at work and still get lunch. The cooler bit works great.

Just one stupid question , why don't you take the product wherever you want in the shaker , and the you shake it with water or milk only when you need to drink it ? Like me , now I have to take my proteins , I have the shaker , and I go to the toilets to prepare it with water and the I will drink it. That's all. Why to shake it in the morning ? Fro what ?

I've done just about everything to take shakes here - take shakes there....

One thing that may help is to go get them Styrofoam "coffee cups" at a Sams club or other such and make a very think shake. Pack it 1/2 full of ice and by the time your ready to drink it most of the ice will have melted and the milk/protein will still be tasting good. They will last a good 4 - 5 hours. Depending on the temp of where you keep them. When your done, toss the cup.

Here is a good idea. Take your protein in a platic zip lock baggie. When it's time to add water shake it up. Then tear off a little of the bottom corner with your teeth. Then put it in your mouth and drink it down. The platic baggie takes up less room than tupperware and stuff like that.

Im with bignate, dont leave un washed protein shake container around, my god that shit reeks after a couple days.
I always carry a shaker and a couple packages of isopure or myoplex with me, just incase you know......

Nahh, Adonis, you have it somewhat wrong. You can use the old containers to your benefit:


The BEST thing to do is put the old protein shake containers in your trunk. That way when the coppers pull you over and search your car (they always search mine) when they pop the trunk they can get a good big whiff of decaying protein. And you thought protein farts were lethal!

I'm out in the field all the time...here's what I do.
Buy 1 extra large thermos....mix shake in cold milk.....add 4 to 5 ice cubes....throw in freezer for 15min. Sorta like a freezer test. Remove. Shake from time to time....drink and enjoy!!!
