![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I totally agree with you. We just have to allow our bodies some time for rest and recovery. I've been competing in fitness shows for a little over a year now. I train each body part only once a week. It seems some guys at our gym have "the old school" principles imbedded in them, and they try to train each body part 2x/week. I think that's fine - but it's just not for me anymore. I feel like if I spend too much time at the gym (which I was doing when I worked ea. body part 2x/wk) I have my body in the "overtrained" state. It hits me like a ton of bricks and I feel horrible! I think if your workout seems to be working for you, then stick with it for a brief time. Then if you've plateaued, try a new workout. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() IF your doing good gear, your body can handle the work load of hitting body parts twice a week. When Im not on the juice, i only do one body part per workout per week, but when im juicen, I do split routines, lunchtime and evening. IP: Logged |
