Try eating between a gram/gram and a half of protein per lb. of bodyweight while bulking. That means you should be eating between 190 to 285 grams of protein per day. IP: Logged |

At least 1.5 or more gms per pound body weight, even when dieting for a contest. More if you can. Your body will tell you when you have to much or not enough. Chesty IP: Logged |

Lobo is right! Of course no one seems to grow from consuming sust amps, but the idea is right. Take at least a gram per pound of body weight, err on the side of too much protein, after all, you're trying to get your body to build muscles and it needs plenty of building blocks. IP: Logged |

Have anybody here experimented with a size/strength cycle and eating a diet maybe 500 calories over maintenance with still a LOT of protein in it. If the protein is what counts why eat like a horse and gain extra bodyfat? You gain more fluid mass from drinking a gallon of water a day on a cycle than you do from all the food. I'm not saying this is the way to do it, but does anybody have an answer from a nutritional standpoint? IP: Logged |
