I've never calculated mine, but I think this would help the newbies to see the dedication and cost for the diet you have to maintain weekly while on the high preformance supplements<wink> and off. Then multiply by 4 and you have a cost comparision for maximizing the greatest gains possible per month, taking in to consideration you train and sleep properly.......!! IP: Logged |

Im kind of a newbie myself. It hit me like a ton of bricks when I started my diet.I pay around $125-$175 a week. Is this average for you? Thats including supplements. But so far I have learned that the rewards come back tenfold! IP: Logged |

I guess I'm lucky. I live next to a chicken/turkey proc. plant so I buy that in bulk, turkey burger, ckn. breast etc. I help out at my gym and get alot of samples <wink>. I have it better than most, but i figure it cost me around 100 to 125$ a week. Plus, I eat like a horse. PS Ranger " Sua Sponte " IP: Logged |

There's a Ranger leading the way as usual. You kind of just have to accept the cost.....if you want to grow, you gotta eat....you could inject growth hormone right into your heart but muscles can't grow without protein. I have been able to buy chicken in bulk from places like The Price Club or even Super WalMArt and it's not too bad, and I get tuna pretty cheap too. IP: Logged |

I honestly believe I have eaten chicken everyway you can, and I will be the first to admit, it sickens me sometimes, but......Its clean, and it keeps my body feeling clean. Hell aside from supps the cost of food just rose up and smacked me in the face when I first started lifting, alot of guys I work with still cant understand how I eat so much and dont look like a whale. Tuna...? Im still coming up with new recipes for that stuff, nice and cheap, and full of clean protein. My refrigerator always looks real funny, the freezer is all chicken and a now frozen turkey, and frozen veggies, and the bottom is full of milk, cottage cheese, yogurt, cheese, and the like...ever feel like you eat the same thing alot....ha,ha......Later Bros...Bleed Iron!
