I do not know much about steroid laws and was wondering what the penalties for smuggling steroids say a small amount for personal use would be. Is it a felony or a misdemeanor?Would there be a large fine. Do airport drug dogs smell steroids? TRYING TO BE SAFE DB IP: Logged |

well if a small amount is found by law, it's there's. they might send you a letter asking if you want to go to court to fight against it, ( not smart ) and the other thing they can do, is have law inforcment pose as your mail man, & when you except the package it's all over with, you go to fedral court, and you could go to FEDRAL POUND ME IN THE ASS PRISON, but most first timers will just have a fine and be given a fedral offence rec, for the rest of your life....that would be nice to put on your resume huh! Believe it or not, the feds will probably not even mess with you if they catch it in the mail. What they will do is to turn it over to the state, since most states have laws that are a lot tougher than the Federal law. It is not cost effective, nor does the Federal government have the desire to prosecute someone over 2 bottles of test in the mail. But local law enforcement will probably have a heyday. Plus, the way the laws work, they go at you at the lowest level first. Reason being is that if the federal government tries to prosecute you and it gets thrown out or dismissed, then you are free. If the state tries it and fails, then the federal government still has jurisdiction and can probably pursue a conviction. But then again, it may not matter either way. They may both be able to take a shot. However, I know personally one guy that got nailed with about 40K worth of stuff in his mailbox. The county actually laid claim to that one. IP: Logged |

depends on where you are also. i can buy syringes where i live, but i think most places in the states is a misdemeaner to even have them in your possession. the three month personal use is a discretionary call, i've read the fine for distribution could be $250,000 or 5 years (i think). then again i was told i'd be fined $5000 for driving with no insurance, when i went to court it was $500. one other thing - i thought class 3 drugs are steroids, opium, codien (sp?), stuff like that and cocaine, heroin are class 2. am i wrong here??
