I shave year-round because I hate body hair. Plus, it makes me look better in my opinion. Lets face it, hairy chests are not kewl anymore. Used to, a hairy chest signified that you were a big tough MAN! However, now it just means you're a skank! It could only work for Austin Powers. ------------------ | ||

Year round for me too....I hate body hair, it gross's me out, I do not know why, plus you look better, harder, but man I hate shaving, I also hate asking girlfriends to shave my back every other week!!! | ||

I get bad razor burns on my neck so I'm having it removed with a laser. I've had one treatment so far. I'm paying $150 per session. It'll take 4-6 sessions spread out over a year to complete the procedure. I was going to have my whole beard done, but that would cost $500 per session. Way more than I can afford. | ||

I once had my back waxed. It hurt like hell and I broke out in a rash the next day. Then about a week later, my lats broke out. Wow, that looked so much nicer than a little hair !! ------------------ | ||

Laser is not the way to go. A couple of phone calls will reveal that it takes many visits simply for the upper lip! And it doesn't work for everyone either. Jan Tana makes Great hair remover! | ||

try NADS, its like wax but doesn't need to be heated, can use the same strip a couple of times as well, so its relatively clean and what comes back 2 days later from a shave, well its been a week and still no stubble. | ||

I JUST HAD MY THIRD SESSION OF LASER TREATMENT ON MY CHEST. SO FAR SO GOOD, ITS ALMOST ALL GONE. THERE IS NO PAIN INVOLVED. MY TOTAL COST WAS $1000.00. THE ONLY PART THAT SUCKS IS THAT YOU HAVE TO WAIT SIX WEEKS IN BETWEEN SESSIONS. | ||

I've heard that Epil-Stop stuff that is advertized on tv is really good stuff. It's supposed to remove even long thick curly hair off your chest with one wipe with a cloth. I don't have any personal experiences with it. Anyone ever tried it? ------------------ | ||

Shaving tips that help.......... 1. buy a ladies shaver...gillett sensor (the ones with the big arse handle) 2. hair no more inhibitor cream. reduces hair growth. or spend about $1000 for laser treatment.

yeah I just stayed trim most of the year, occasionally I'll shave it all....Epil stop isn't that great, I've used it alot and it's just a bit better then nair...I guess my body is just sensitive to that stuff...The growth spray that comes with it works really well...It worked well even with shaving, where I only had to shave 1 every week and half or two weeks vs 2 a week | ||

I have used NADS, it is the cool dark green looking gel, it goes on a little rough when spreading with the applicator, I used it back around the middle of January on my back, for the first time and so far, no new hair growth at all. I have heard after about the 3-4 treatment, you will not any growing back. go to www.nads.com (I think or email me and I will send the link) | ||

Be careful with NAIR and dont get it on you nipples. Last week I used that new Berry NAIR and got some on my nipple and they started to bleed and hurt for like 2 weeks. Even Drying off with a towel was so dam painful. I will only use it now for my legs and use the old shaving for my arms and chest. I always use womens shaving cream and the new Shick triple edge shaver (which is very forgiving). ------------------ | ||

Your reaction to a hair removal cream depends on the sensitivity of your skin cells like the Pacinian Corpuscle. I used Nair once, about the size of a 50 cent piece and had to sleep with a bag of ice on my chest. Keep it away from the nips, and make sure it's got aloe if you go that route. | ||

not sure about everyone but if you can handle nair do it. I nair everything nuts to neck !! Serious it doesn't hurt and is so much easier than waxing . But I've been called a sadist and such so go figure. JUST NAIR IT! "In research mode" | ||

A blade works just fine! First shave all long hair with a beard trimmer off a electric shaver, then use a cheep razor blade, use plenty of water, no shave foam and keep changing to new blades, if you dont change blades then you will get burn! | ||
