Hello all!

Do you know how Flex Trains? He works out 6 times a week. And his workouts take most of his day. Thats right, he does three things -

Sleep, Workout and Eat.
He wakes at 4:00 AM. does 2 hours of cardio. Eats and sleeps. Then he goes to the gym for two hours. He comes back , sleeps for 2 hours again and eats and goes back to the gym.

Stuff like that. He trains about 4-6 hours a day plus 2 hours of cardio.

How can he make gains through THIS OVERTRAINING? WHo can possibly work out that much? Why doesnt he works out like Dorian?
Atleast short workouts would mean that you got time OUTSIDE OF GYM and BED... A life...
Oh a great thing!

Reply please!

Did you get this info from the article about what he had to do last year after Chris Cormier beat him at the Ironman? That is just his pre-comp routine.

When Wheeler looked his best he was trained personally by Charles Glass (Glass trains Wesley Snipes too). So for flex's routine you could read some of the stuff Charles has written.

So he's dedicated and its his job and hes good at it. If thats whats good for him let him do it, he's a little stronger, harder, and more cut than the average person.

Actually, Flex is not getting rave reviews from BioChem, the supplement company that sponsers him. He is notoriously late for assignments and has been coming to appearances out of shape. I believe they are not going to re-up his contract.

I have seen Flex train at Gold's and to tell you the truth, he really seems disinterested when he trains. The guy has genetics from God! I wish I had them and could take advantage of it like he did, but I know a lot of pros that train harder and more intensly. In his defense, he probably doesn't have to train as hard with his Natural (and un-natural) gifts.

I agree with you on the Charles Glass thing. He did look great when he was training with Glass. That guy really knows his stuff.
