I'm limited to flat-bar and incline-bar only because I lift in my garage, and I usually do flat first then incline. The problem with this is that whenever I get stronger, my flat goes up, but my incline stays the same becuase I use the extra strength on flat. This is really frustrating because I want to move up in both lifts, and I definitely think incline is as important as flat if not more.

I've thought about what I can do to solve this problem but can't come up with a good solution.

If I do incline first then I can't lift shit on flat afterwards.

If I rotate between incline and flat everyother chest day then that seems like too long of a rest in between both of them.

I'm thinking about only doing incline, but I don't want my lower pecs to go to hell.

What should I do??

incline is more important because it is hard for most people to build upper pecs. i say always do incline first, so what if your flat benchh goes down, because your pec size will probably go up and that is what u want. A physique with good upper pecs is always better than good lower pecs, i mean look at frank sepe, he has horrible upper pecs and great lower pecs, but then again he looks like he has breasts like a woman. just my 2 cents hope it helps.

Yeah, I agree with you guys, incline is a much better lift. So should I even bother doing flat bench? If I do flat after incline my chest and tris are so dead that I can maybe do 1 set at 65% 1 rep max to failure. Is it even worth doing?
