My doc just put me on Lescol 40 mg for high cholesterol, anyone else on this med or anything else for cholesterol? If so how does it effect your cycle?    | ||

The statin cholesterol lowering drugs can do some funky things to your liver, so I'd be careful if you're on anything that's at all liver toxic. | ||

I posted a simular question when I first joined the board, I don't think anyone knew anything, but I didn't find any research whatsoever that it would affect anything regarding a cycle. What are your numbers like?  | ||

I need to know all I can before i start my next one, Anyone else know if taking this med on a cycle will hurt me or effect my liver in any way please speak up.Thanks | ||

I take Niacin, which can be purchased over the counter, for Cholesterol management. I have had relatively high LDL since teens and an increasingly low HDL due to gear usage. My doc and I argue about what to do about it. He urges no 'goodies'. I ask for a script for some lowering meds and he says I'm still too young. I will probably search around for a new doc who will be more amenable to an athlete. I have not had a problem with the Niacin but I have heard that the 'statins' work MUCH better. Would appreciate any comments on this from anyone else. Peace. SquatLord2k | ||
