I like all of you am worried about all the busts and things coming down. The main thing they need on us is evidence, and that CAN be an IP address if they suppena (sp?) your ISP records.. That's easy to do if the can prove criminal intent. I use a ANONYMOUS WEB SURFING TOOL. It slows you down a little, but WELL worth it. It's simple you pay about 20$ for a lifetime or year (Small price to pay for covering your ass).... They give you servers across the country or world to log into using your tools drop down menu of Internet Explorer and you change your LAN settings. It' logs you into that computer , lets say in Russia, and then bounces you here. It's simple! They NEVER know who you are. I use it ALL the time if I'm doing you know what. They also have email remailers, etc.
In fact, I will post a response to this right after this from another country, MODERATORS please do a check and confirm it. Thanks and this could help out ALL you people. All they need is an IP number from you and your nabbed!!!     | ||

This could be a nice thing to have installed in the PCP. But considering the virtually permanant nature of an e mail or post once it is sent over the internet, it does little to cover ones tracks if they have even made one purchase on line. | ||

Tyrone, PGP (not PCP), does nothing to conceal your IP address, not for e-mail nor web browsing. PGP is an encryption tool, not an anonymizer. Now if you want something that covers your tracks via e-mail get Private Idaho, or use a remailing service. E-mail me if you want me to send you these apps. | ||

It does everything to cover ones tracks. You only USE that IP address to do things. Can't track you. They only know you by a handle on the internet and when they check the IP, it comes from Spain, or Russia, or, etc. when your actually in Florida or New York, etc. | ||
