I've always wondered this. I don't drink very often but I have friends who drink like fishes. I tell them if they keep drinking like that they will have no liver soon. They tell me the same thing about roids. Would doing an 8 week cycle of test be comparable to drinking heavily every other day? Has anybody ever heard a comparison of the two? Which is worse on the liver?

You are more likely to damage your liver drinking heavily everyday.

bump, Ive wondered the same thing which would be harder on your liver drinking 3 12packs a week or a 1.75 a week for 8 weeks or juicing for 8 weeks, say on a cycle of test and deca. NO FLAMING please, the bottom line is College life is hard you wanna get big but you gotta get f up too. For my first cycle it was hard I didnt drink a single drink for a month and 1/2. But if my liver livers f up anyway from drinking couple nights a week for 4 years whats juicing going to do to my liver compared to drinking?

Liver disease is one of the top 10 leading causes of death in the US. Drink moderately and avoid more than 2-3 drinks a day. You should be find. As yes, liver and kidney detox is always a good idea. Take care.

Testosterone doesn't display any liver toxicity unless you abuse it. But of course pretty much anything you take, even vitamins, are liver toxic at high doses.

Deca isn't liver toxic and can be used even in the presence of liver disease.

Testosterone and deca are unlikely to cause any liver problems. Alcohol would be much worse.

Liver toxicity is really only an issue with 17 alpha alkylated steroids.

This topic confuses me. If you are taking AAS, you are tying to improve your physique and health. I, and many people on this board feel that AAS are very safe and effective when done right. Why does somebody want to drink while on the cycle. Don't do it, if you can't go 8 weeks without drinking, then you have a problem. Although live stress is only associated with orals (17 alkylated), Alcohol causes some pretty negative things in the body, like increase in estrogen and dehydration rate. Just say no... but... if you are going to drink, try to stick with wine and beer, fremented stuff. There is some health benefits to drinking red wine, and dark beer, but those benfits only come into effect, when they are consumed everyday. It has no benefit if consumed once in a while. Hard liquor (distllied) has no health benefit what so ever, execept for a disinfectent. It offers no health benfit to you at all. So if you are going to drink, have 1-2 every day for health benifts, or stay away from it competely. I would just tough it out for the duration of your cycle.
