Ok well lets say that i have been soooo dam strict for the last 3 months. I have never even touched a fry or burger or ate anything processed. ATE: Tuna out of can, grilled chicken, egg whites (hard boiled), brown rice, rice pasta, buckwheat, oatmeal, flaxseed oil and cashews, almonds for fat. Now As I sit here with absolutely no mass loosing weight I am wondering why i cant get ripped. Maybe i cant get ripped cause i have nothing to fuckin rip up with!!! isn't that right guys?!! no matter how small you are if you eat clean and have a perfect diet no matter how long you will never look ripped with out having the mass, right/???. well thats what some guy explained to me at the gym today. SOOOO, now I guess i have to eat whatever the hell i want, mcDonalds, burger king, eat everything and anything alllll day long. only do mass excercizes. NO more crazy supersets and I will grow????? But my main question is.....CAN I BULK UP EATING CLEAN BY DOUBLING MY CARBS DOUBLING MY FAT, KEEPIN SAME AMOUNT OF PROTIEN AND JUST EATING MORE BUT CLEAN.. Will that do it for me?? Or do i need to eat shit food such as white breads, pizza, burgers and all that junk??? any help appreciated thanks.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

you want ripped, keep eating clean, just 3 months is going to cut it. do it for years and years, then you will get somewhere. when i want definition, i do push-ups and sit-ups and work on the ropes. do your normal routine and add push-ups, sit-ups or crunches, and go balls out on the jump rope. Been there, done that... and I regret it. I pigged out on my last Deca-Winny "bulking" cycle so as to get the most efficacy out of the roids. Well, now I'm big, but fat as hell. If you guys could only see a dam pic of me!!!!! i am the smallest one on this board yet with the most motivation I bet!!! I work out sooo dam hard till i puke or passout, not literally but to the point allthough had that happend to me twice, haha. Anyways teh point!!!! I have 14" arms, small chest, no delts, literally a small guy. my strength though is great!!! ironic huh? I been eating clean for 3 months now and the "big guys" at my gym are fuckin RIPPED AND HUGE and eat Mcdonalds everyday, dominoes. They said if i keep eating clean I will never get as big as them.....ARE THEY RIGHT!!!!!!!??? Should i stop all my hard work and movitavation cause of these big fucks!!!!! thanks guys.. No. they're not right. You don;t have to degrade yoursekf to eat shit food to gain mass. It will most likely be detrimental. It sounds like you need to eat more...much more. But those calories should come from good wholesome foods that will nourish your body's needs for growth. You need to increase the calories to grow...not the junk food. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

No. "Eating clean", to me, means eating healthy stuff: Good fats, lean protein, complex carbs, etc. gaining mass in a function of proper training and sufficient calories. True, it's easier to get those calories from eating shit. a medium pepperoni pizza and a double whopper put together will give you about 2700; throw in some beers and cokes, etc., and you'll get enough calories to gain weight. But you won't be all that healthy, either. Do some more research, man. if you're not eating enough, you'll never look "ripped" because there just won't be enough muscle pushing out the skin. I used to be 150 pounds and 3% bodyfat (VERY low, i know). I'm now 160 and 4.5% bodyfat, and look a HELL of a lot more ripped. What am i doing differently? Eating about 1000 calories more per day. (Around 2600 when I'm maintaining) It's tough to eat enough when you're eating clean, true, since most people can only stomach so much chicken, tuna, and oatmeal, but buy some good MRPs, take some flax oil, eat lots of fatty fish, and let yourself get the occasional steak and potato dinner, and you'll start to gain some mass. Fuck it, i eat what I want when I want while "on". As long as I am getting a shitload of protein then I am ok. My opiniion is eating clean is for dieting down after a mass cycle. Don't get me wrong, eating twinkies all day is bad, but a whopper value meal never hurt anybody. MP5- the way i see it is that eating what you want is totally cool, and i got no beef (haha) with whoppers either. But too much pizza, too much junk food, etc., just makes me feel like crap. All bloated, all nasty. 'sides, once you get addicted to stuffed-crust pizza, it's mentally kinda tough to go back to "healthy" stuff when you wanna cut. I dunno. ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

eating clean is the way to go. Get yourself a good weightgainer like lee labradas or max muscles big max. Less sugar in em. Watch sugar, thats what does ya in a lot of the time. As a general rule, for example on a 600 cal meal, 100 come from fat, 200 from carbs, 300 Protien. You will get lean and grow more muscle mass at the same time. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I am a small guy as well. 5'll'' 160 lbs. I eat almost everything in sight and it seems to work. I usually try to eat 1 clean meal a day. From my experience I like to get bulked up by eating shit food when i'm "on" and then eat cleaner when i'm off and try to work on getting ripped. trial and error. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
