Is an explanation too much to ask for? There seems to be so many locked threads lately and many aren't so obvious as to why they are locked..I do realize how things are these days but if a thread contains things it shouldn't wouldn't deleting it be a safer practice? I hope I'm not coming across as a whiner because I appreciate everything I've learned from this board, I'm making a suggestion to make the board better and safer..so, I'll make a couple of suggestions. 1. Can a mod quickly type up his or her reasoning for locking the thread..that way, we all know what not to say in the future. 2. If a mod feels the need to delete a post, Thanks for taking the time to read this.     | ||

Bottom line is almost always the reason. If someone posts about the risks of internet mail order AS, then a well known source or two (oh yes, there might be one or two who read the boards) with some influence might contact a moderator and say Lock this. Such threads can hurt business. | ||

Considering the nature of the posts, the speed of the lockdowns, and the number of busts of people affiliated with the boards, I think it is reasonable to wonder who is controlling the board at this point. I do not understand the reason either. I see no reason why security and privacy posts are being locked or deleted. We know you don't advocate it Mr. Spellwin But what are you doing to stop it? This and every other board on the net keeps a log of what each person who visits this board does while they are here.
