5/8th's pin - 25 gauge, 2 cc's winny in quad and now have soreness and minor bump a day later. I can expect the soreness but the bump worries me. It doesn't hurt or anything but it really can be felt and noticed when I flex. Is this because it didn't fully get into the muscle due to the lenght of the pin, whould I be better off going with a full inch pin in the quad? Thanks

It is possible that much of the oil was not shot deep enough. This all depends on your bodyfat levels though. 5/8ths maybe a little to short for quads but I know people who did it a lot. I personally would stick with the 1 inch for quad. Give it 4 or 5 days and problem should be solved

Thanks Iron-game. What I figured. I'm not ripped right now nor fat, probably around 12%bf. So that attempt was most likely a waste? I will go with an inch pin.

I don't know what your stats are but 5/8 is just over 1/2 an inch there is no way that you can shoot 2cc's deep enough with a 5/8 pin. Intramuscular shots are best when done deep into the muscle; I would definitely switch to at least a 1" pin as it sounds like some of it ended up subcutaneous instead.

The pin is not only too short but too thin as well. Sounds like you did not penetrate the muscle deep enough and the juice is between the muscle & skin. It will eventually dissipate but go with a 1" x 23 at least from now on. RICO

bro...i don't use anything but 1 and a 1/2...it always safer to get it deeper into the muscle...i wouldn't worry about it...where in your quad did you hit...side, front tear,?...for future, just stick with your ass...you'll always have less problems...

Test Prop did the same thing to me. The bumps will go away when you finish your cycle. That's the "localized growth" that everyone talks about. Use a 1" pin. ------------------

Unless hes a fat ass 5/8"'s although not preferable will suffice no problem, as long as it gets inside the muscle it doesnt matter how deep. As long as its not along the outer edge. If he buried the needle its no problem, winny causes soreness - nothing new there. Example - take your finger and push into your quad the fat or whatever will move out of the way and as long as you burry it you could shoot with a 1/2" no problem (all though not advisable). ------------------ For a good time click here: Search and Profiles (300Kleens Board)

Rico, what does the gauge of the pin have to do with it? It is winny and water based and people shoot all the way up to insulin gauge, 28. Slopain says no problem while others say probably not a good idea? I am no fat ass but like I said I'm not ripped right now either as it is winter where I live. I got it as far in as it would go. So as it dissipates it will be useful or is it as wasted attempt? I hit the proper region in the quad also. I think I will go with 1 inch from now on to make sure. Thanks for opinions.

My bad jarabit, I am used to oil-based. Personally though I find the bigger the pin the less resistance injecting. Not to say I would enjoy jabbing myself with an 18, but even with a 23 the plunger is pretty resistant and the shit just does not want to go in. JMHO. RICO

Slopain you are correct that as long as it gets into the muscle it really doesn't matter however most muscle is more vascular deep and therefore shooting deep into the muscle will make absorption more thorough. |
