I am not a big computer buff,so could some of you clear me up on something.Exactly what could the feds find on my computer if they had a search warrant and took my computer to find evidence for a package?Could they read all of my E-mails even though I delete all of them.Could they read all the posts that I have made on this board?    | ||

Yes they can read all your posts! Yes they can read all your e-mails unless you have been using hushmail or something similar! They can read anything you have typed on any word document. Will they? Not unless you are head of the mafia! When files are recovered they are not always completely readable and bits and pieces are missing. Inconsistency is not the best type of evidence. | ||

Yes they can. Data recover is big biz. They can take a hard drive that been in an air crash, been in the bottom of a lake for a year formated and still get tons O data from it. Just because you delete stuff from recycle doesn't mean crap unless those sector have been re-written over, and even then...... Sounds like you need a removable hard drive and a powerfull electro magnet in the same room as your computer. Grotto Grotto | ||

Anyone who thinks they are ready to participate in illegal actions (ordering drugs, selling drugs, conversing with other people via computer about drugs which is conspiracy), spend a little bit of money and some of your precious time and buy a program that you can use that will keep whatever you type on you computer encrypted. Your asking people you don't know serious questions that have answers that could keep you out of prison. Learn for yourself. You've got the internet. SEARCH for ways of keeping your identity anonymous. If the FEDS were looking for people like yourself, your question will make you look guilty itself. |
