I've been using AS for about 6 years and I am now 26 years old. I just recently (past 8 months) been having a hair loss problem. Rogaine halted the loss for a lil while. But I went on some Deca and more started to fall out. It's been mainly my hair line. I've read in past articles that Deca and Propecia is a No No. But I just spoke with someone that told me he is doing fine with taking both. My doctor wants to put give me a script for PROPECIA but she told me it requires a lifetime commitment. I am very scared to loss my hair. But I don't wanna get off AS. Deca is one of the few steroids that naturally reduces to a less harmful substance(DHN) when it reaches the scalp.Taking finasteride with deca blocks this reduction process,which in turn releases full strength nandrolone on the scalp.This is the equivalent of synthetic testosterone with no finasteride,which is obviously quite harsh on the hair follicle... | ||

Huck , so you saying that TEST is harder on your hair than DECA? I just recently had a hair prob. so this is all new to me! Anyone else out there that has taken PROPECIA and DECA? ------------------ MustangRacer27 | ||

ALL synthetic androgens are hard on the hair follicle for those pre-disposed genetically to MPB,with deca being the exception to the rule,and perhaps test being the most aggressive on the other end of the spectrum... | ||

I have no baldness in my family and this last cycle of ARA-Test & Tornell Deca made my hair very thin in the back been off for since nov 20th and my hair is still thin I just started taking propeshia 3 days ago I hope it brings my hair back. | ||

PITT keep me informed of your results . I have your email. I am starting propecia tomarrow. Scary reason #1 limp dick #2 more hair falling out #3 still not effective against hair lost. I don't know if this was mentioned but saw palmetto could be something to use with Deca. ------------------ Great Information on Injections and Syringes | ||

I am using NIOXIN right now. It has saw palmetto in it. But yea, i have to try that as an internal supplement also, thanks ------------------ MustangRacer27 |
