we all no(well most)that deca alone is a no  no..(deca dick)..right???well since ive just had surgery and cant touch a weight for awhile, i was going to take a small amount of deca to help the healing process, MY QUESTION IS WHAT TO TAKE W/ IT????? what about PROVIRON w/ it---would this be good enough to stack w/ the deca to avoid the problems of taking it alone or do i need something else like some low-dose: test, eq, winny, dbol or ...????? please help me out here fellows, im going to be down for awhile and need all the help and advise i can get!!! ..thanks... by the way what amount of deca/wk would you suggest???? ------------------ [This message has been edited by ROIDRANGER (edited February 22, 2001).]     | ||

I dont think so. The "deca dick" comes from the progesterone sides. Proviron stop aas from aromitizing to estrogen. It might help with erections if the progest conversion doesnt effect you. I really dont think it will help with the healing process. Maybe it would help with discomfort to a degree. There is a reason the doc said stay away from weights, they are not all quacks. If you are rehabbing, I think it would help. If you are taking theraputic doses(50 to 100mg a week), deca dick shouldnt come into play. rehab starts next wk. and oh yeah i have alot of work ahead of me... thanks lawnsaver for your replies--- i hate being on all this medication--i feel like a space cadet(and to think some people like being this way all the time)and have trouble even w/ easy shit that i already know, like i said theres alot of work ahead for me.... a couple of caps here would be nice though, cause hate these fucking pills!!!! ------------------ | ||

Proviron may help.Deca dick is nothing more than progestin weakening nerve impulses/circulation to the penis.If levels of MALE sex hormones are sufficient,they will over ride progestin's signal.My advice is to have some test on hand just to be safe. | ||

I think Deca would/could possibly help the healing process. Since it basically helps your muscles heal and prevents wasting in AIDS patients, why not give it a try? If anything, I think it would help preserve muscle while you can't lift. Not sure about the deca dick though. | ||

I was thinking that if you were going to stack deca with something and your main goal is recovery, Winstrol might be a good thing to stack with Deca. I remember reading an article that, I think, Huck posted, that said that Winstrol is good for your ligiments and tendons as well as muscle growth. Just playing with the idea. Maybe someone can back me up on this idea or shoot it down. Whatever. | ||

As Huck said. Proviron does seem to help most people who have experienced problems with the infamous 'deca dick'. 50mgs / day is sufficient for these purposes but test at 200mgs to help if you are really that concerned. | ||

well BIG JOHNSON the surgery i had (5 of them in 12 days)was from ACUTE COMPARTMENT SYNDROME--on the right lower leg. well ended up hitting 150mg ttokkyo-deca and 125mg of aratest the other night.. ..i do have winny on hand and have some proviron coming in soon...so ill probaly toy around w/some other ideas before next wk. who knows what ill end up doing, anymore ideas...????? ------------------ | ||
