I have an idea. I've taught myself program, but as fate would have it I don't do that for a living. But what I want to do is develop a plug in or an extenion to ICQ that allows ENCRYPTED converstations between the people chatting. I bet this is not difficult, and it will solve a lot of problems that are happening currently. Does anyone have any ideas where to begin?     | ||

If you want security, move to Linux with Licq (icq clone). It allows encrypted messages, plus you can really lock down your security with linux if you know what you're doing. Just my $0.02 ------------------ | ||

J, there is a program called "chatbuddy" that encrypts icq communications. I have read about it but have yet to try it. I'll try to find more info and get it over to your e-mail KNOWLEDGE IS KING | ||

This is good info .. I'm doing more research, and all the cards haven't been laid on the table yet, but FEDS claim to have transcripts of ICQ conversations from a friend of mine. Be careful out there. |
