the UPS man knocked on my door. i did not open it. he left a paper that says that they want a signature. i told my source to waive the signature and he said he will waive it. then how come UPS is asking for one? what the FU#K shall i do? thanx!     | ||

First things first: why is your source sending your shit by UPS instead of USPS? That is the first fucking mistake. Secondly, if they are leaving a letter that says they need a signature, and your source says that he waived the sig, guess what? They are gonna bust your ass! Get over it, tell them you aren't waiting on a package from anywhere and that its not yours. Tell them to "return to sender" and count your loss. sign for the box and write return to sender on the box and let it sit by the door for a week or two. if they raid your house they'll see that you didnt open it and you will have a strong case saying that it wasnt yours. good luck | ||

email you source and ask him if he waived the sig and ask what the box looked like etc. Look at the box when the guy comes back and look and see if it was sent to your fake name or not. I would not sign for shit. I would deny it. Now...why is USPS better than UPS? I disagree, USPS is a federal crime if you get popped, not so with UPS. ------------------ | ||

Hey fatshit, normally I tell people just sign it but you are very nervous and paranoid - is it for a reason or ya just being silly? How much was the order, it might be wise to chalk this one up to the loss column, and try to recoup your losses from the source who sent it via UPS instead of usps IF thats what he said he was going to do. I hope you emailed your source and asked how he sent it. READ THIS CAREFULLY!! First, using USPS adds an extra count to your charges if your caught, this equates to more time in jail if convicted. This also gives the postal inspector jurisdiction over the DEA! They will come along with the DEA when they visit you. So that is cleared up. DO NOT use USPS EVER! Second, find out from your source quick if he waived the sig. If he did then they know what's in the package. They will be back. When they come tomorrow answer the door. Do not act funny. Be nice and cordial. When the driver asks you to sign for the package ask him who it's from and mention that you don't remember sending for anything. Tell him to take it back. Maybe laugh and say that these record clubs are always sending you stuff you didn't order. Now this is where it may get tricky. He might insist that you sign (I've seen this happen) politely tell him no and to take it back. You may now close the door. The next part is the hardest but if you follow this exactly you WILL NOT get into trouble. Even though you did not sign they will already have a warrent. Signing for the package only adds to the charges. They don't necessarily need it. When they come back answer the door. THEN SHUT THE FUCK UP!! No matter what they say you can not be charged if they do not find anything in your house. Unless you talk and incriminate yourself!!! Don't think that you can hide it somewhere where they won't know to look. They've done this before. They will try and trick and intimidate you. Telling you that they know this and that and that you are going to jail for a long time. This is bullshit. The only thing you should say is that you want to talk to a lawyer. NOTHING MORE. Do not try to be your own lawyer and start talking. Saying the wrong thing can get you in jail. They might decide to take you in for questioning. Don't freak out about this. The worst that will happen is that you'll be out in 48hrs. You will have already memorized a good lawyers number ahead of time. This will be your first call you make. This is allot better than 2 years probation. This most likely won't happen though. There is no law that states you ever have to answer questions put to you by a law enforcement officer. Think about this, the Ramseys daughter was killed and they never did have to talk to the police. I hope you follow this and everyone else on the board. This could someday save your ass. I agree with nitestalker, the cops probably have a warrant the probable cause based solely on the contents of the box. If you refuse to open the box, and leave it next to your front door (assuming that the bogus UPS guy leaves it) they will have nothing to charge you with. Also, the warrant will "anticipatory" in nature. What that means is this - the cops will be hoping that you open the package, thereby accepting its contents as belonging to you. I have also heard that on certain occassions, the cops, feds particularly will secrete a transmitter in the package. This is fact fellas no bullshit. Make damn sure your house is sterile, get any paraphernalia of use or other telltale items the fuck out. Good luck. | ||

If you need to prove it to yourself call up one of those free law advise lines or ask a lawyer if you happen to be friends with any or go to a law library and look it up in Black's Law dictionary. You should have never used your real name. all delivery agencys will deliver to any address regardless of name on box. Do yourself a favor and make sure if your throwing shit out you get rid of the garbage bags from your house. Alot of stupid people get popped from overlooking that. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you say your source is domestic?If so whats to worry. Customs doesn't scan or open domestic mail. Just international. US mail cannot be opened without a search warrant, all international mail may be inspected by customs! The safest is good old fashoined FIRST CLASS MAIL. | ||

Alright... Listen and take heed. First off DON'T SIGN FOR SHIT --- foreign or domestic. If its domestic it doesn't matter whether it was scanned. Maybe you heard of all the busts lately??? Second if it was sent sig waived and they want one ---- guess what?? A little story - my friend had some pot sent to him last year - ohh about 5 pounds worth. UPS guy came to the door asking for a sig. His girl answered and said she would sign. Guy said "No, it has to be him". He signed. They waited for 20 minutes then busted the door down. He never opened the package. He was taking a dump when it happened. He walked out of the shitter to guns drawn. True story. The moral - doesn't matter if you don't open it. Do ytou want to spend the bail and lawyer fees to have it dropped. Because they can and will arrest your ass if you sign. So my advice is this - have someone answer it and offer to sign. If they say no then there's your proof. A couple things - what was 2 pounds? How much shit did you order? Does that make sense? If the source was popped (which if it is domestic he must have been or else they wouldn't have found it) then he may be sending you a lot of shit to get a distribution charge on you. 2 pounds is a lot of juice. More than personal use. 100 amps weigh 2 pounds. second - Are you sure you saw no truck? Seems kinda careless if it was a controlled delivery. If it was they sure as shit want you to see the truck. It isn't like they are making other rounds. My buddy's girl saw the truck out front. This leads me to believe it may not have been controlled because if you didn't see it it was probably parked in front of another house making a delivery. Those fuckers would want you to see it so you feel rest assured it is the real UPS. In closing, don't risk it. I wouldn't. If you think it's cool then use the friend trick I said. They can't bust the named person if someone else signs for it. Trust me on this. Have someone just ask to sign. If the guy says "ok" like a dork then its not controlled. If he thinbks about it and says "no, policy requires named guy" thgen fuck it and count the loss. But I would think twice in any case. Too much to lose in these times of busts. Is freedom worth a cycle?

You say your going to have your source resend when it gets back to him? Why would your source list a good return address from where he shipped from-I've never had problems but I think the return adddress on my packages is a false address. IF I were a source, I wouldn't do that- too risky- good for the postal inspectors though KNOWLEDGE IS KING | ||

Do you have any neighbors. I know sometimes UPS will deliver to a neighbor and notify you of where your package is. OTHERWISE Let it go. There is WAY too many guys here telling you to count your blessings and forget your gear. I am sorry, but no gear is better than going to the can. My .02. No truck with a delivery.
