It sucks, I have a three chambered heart. If you do not already know, you are supposed to have 4. I have a common ventricle. I was supposed to die and all that crap, but I did not and they fixed me up pretty well. I am not supposed to lift, but I do not care. I do it anyway and my heart is very strong. I can bench around 200 right now. I know, nothing that exceptional, but you should see the other people with my condition. They are all fat, outta breath, and half dead. At any rate, I am in my 1st cycle and the world is now going to die! I am 5'7" 162, hoping to get up to around 5'7" 180. I would like to bench about 250 this time around, but ultimately I would like 315. Do it with 3 baby!

Go ahead and ask your cardiologist how A.S. will effect you.

First, I give you props for deciding to better yourself inspite of some difficult odds, that shows me you're determined. But, be careful man, increasing your body's mass will be hard on your heart. The bigger you get, the harder your heart has to beat to fill the body with blood. If there is more muscle and more vasculature your heart will definetly be under a strain. How much? I wish I could be more precise, but I don't know the limitations of your heart, and I don't want you to find it the hard way!

Personally, I would grow very slow. That way, as you have already seen with your natural lifting, your heart can adapt to the greater loads put on it. Don't try to bulk too fast, rather use some modest doses of relatively anabolic substances, over a long period of time.

Good luck to you...
