If used sparingly I don't have a real problem with people occasionaly having a good time. But most of the time when people ask this question they want a excuse to do it often. I stay away from all rec drugs when on a cycle and for 3 weeks afterwards also. For me my gains are more important than having a buzz. Most rec drugs are safe when used in moderation, but who do you know that ever uses in moderation... ------------------ | ||

Just watch out. If you get caught with hydrocodone or oxycodne without a perscription its a felony. That 1 pill. I like somas once in a while. Funny how you just assume that everyone on this board, since they use anabolic steroids, must also indulge in recreational drugs too. I for one don't touch illegal recreational drugs. Alcohol is where I draw the line. I hope that the general public doesn't share this view... that anabolic steroid users should be categorized with pot heads, coke addicts, & heroin fiends... I definitely consider myself as being set far apart from them. Just my 2 cents. ------------------ | ||

Great point lawnsaver! Alcohol is by far the most damaging of all drugs (according to medical literature) and the most addictive. Most "recreational" drugs are not liver toxic and neurotoxic (except MDMA, possibly). And most of all, alcohol is really the only drug that causes a full body hangover, due to its toxic metabolites! You guys do the math... | ||

I wouldnt class MDMA as neurotoxic, because all the damage caused to the axons in the brain, are repaired in 6 months. Definately agree with the other point. Alcohol is far worse, as is smoking. Im in the UK and the figures for E related death here the other year was 3, compared to approx 30,000 drinking deaths(and that doesnt include the drink driving ones) just seems to me that legal drugs are legal because its easily taxed, not because its safe. Just my thoughts. | ||

I'm glad someone posted about that. Lawnman, great response, your thinking is right... The media is a killer and ppl base their judgement on what they write ALCHOHOL / TOBACCO are the worst drugs in our society. How many ppl die from alchohol in your state each year? I bet it's in the 1,000's to 10's of 1,000's. What about smoking? What did that add on tv say a year? 1/4 million? I would bet the number is more!!!! That doesn't include, liver disease that ppl are fighting, cancer ppl are fighting, the drain on the economy for health care, etc. But when someone picks up a tab of Ecstasy or snorts a line every now and then, WATCHOUT!! LOL, bunch a fucking no good hypocrites. The government can tax every leaf of tobacco and every drop of alchohol, that's why they are legal.. AND THAT'S THE ONLY REASON.. Drugs are too easy to make, gov. would loose money. How many ppl die a year from steroids? Ecstasy? Cocain? Huh? Numbers and stats don't lie. Although, they CAN control your life, they are powerful... Moderation is the key... I personally love bean now and then (X). I won't touch alchohol, makes me stupid and if I drive I surely don't what I'm doing and can kill someone. That's opinion bowedup | ||
