Is there a way to make your body absorb more protein such as a supplement. Been told that only about 45 grams can be absorb every 2-3 hours and the rest is waste. | ||

Why would yu want to get more than 40g every 3-4 hours? That would be 200-250g per day. That is what most people will need for a cycle. ------------------ Great Information on Injections and Syringes | ||

mmm, most people can absorb 50g, if you eat 7 times a day you can get 350g, and that would be enough for most of us. if you happen to need more protein cos your bigger then i really havent seen a proven suplement that enhances protein absorption. | ||

thats just a general statement for the average person, it may or may not apply to you personally. for every pound of body weight you have, 1-2 grams per pound would suffice depending on how advanced you are, then divide that by 5 or 6 (how many meals you are willing to eat per day) and thats what YOU should take per day ------------------ | ||

why do u guys come up with the 40,50,or 60 grams of protein in one serving theory,do u just guess or is their evidence that a certain amount can be absorbed at one time,i have heard people say anywhere from 35 to 70 to their is no max | ||

Have you tried digestive enzymes like bromelain and betaine hydrochloride? I'm not sure, but I think they're supposed to improve food absorbtion, including protien. | ||

the fact that testosterone make you hold water actually helps with the absorption of protein and as far as that goes creatine works off of this principle as its secondary function | ||

WHERE DID YOU GUYS GET THE 40 GRAMS PER 3-4 HOURS INFORMATION? I'VE NEVER HEARD THIS AND DON'T REALLY BELIEVE IT, EITHER. NFL LINEMEN EAT WELL OVER FIFTY GRAMS PER MEAL. PERHAPS THE BODY, UNDER NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES, CAN'T MATABOLIZE MORE THAN 40 GRAMS IN 3-4 HOURS, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOUR BODY WON'T ABSORB MORE FROM THE FOOD YOU ATE AT A LATER TIME. ------------------ GOT CINDY? | ||

protein consumed will not be utilized afte a 4 hr period...hence to vegetarians nutritionists reccomend combining incomplete proteins at meals spaced no more than 4 hrs. apart ex. rice followed by beans 3 hours later, allowing the body to obtain all essential amino acids for building and repair. Eatin small meals every 4 hours with some complete protein is the best way to keep nitrogen and anabolism revved whilst efficiently utilizing what is ingested. | ||

some of you guys need to take a nutrition class. You need 1-2g of protein per pound of bodyweight.Only a pro can digest 70g in one meal maybe someone about to turn pro. It really plans on whatg you eat 40g of a shake is ganna digest twice as fast as 40g of steak.Protein is useless after a certain point your body gets rid of the nitrogen through urea and the hydrogen oygen are are basic building blocks of sugar and thats what your body as.No harm meant its just some peeps go overboardfor no reason a soluble fiber before bed on an empty stomack kelps protein digestion over a time peroid of about 6 wks | ||
