For Fast twich fibers - low reps high weight (6 reps I guess)

For slow twich fibers - High reps (20)

For most people it is 10-12 for hypertrophy.

Doing 4-6 is mainly for strength.

As mentioned above, the rep range should be adjusted for slow or fast twitch fibers of the individual.

I've been training at 5-8 reps but have not noticed as much muscle growth as I would like, was thinking of bumping it up to 8-12 for size
