I mean, the other day I was wondering how long does insulin stays "alive" without being refrigerated or what would happen to the person that uses it having being out of the fridge for 24 hrs.? Does it lose potency? can it cause you a reaction or what?     | ||

my endocrinologist (i'm diabtetic) says insulin is both heat AND LIGHT sensitive, so keep in a dark refridgerator unless you want it to lose effectiveness. | ||

read the inserts. Humalog is good for 28 days without refrigeration (below 86 F) and out of direct light and heat. |
