I CANT SEEM TO GET MY CHEST COMPLETELY RIPPED UP NO MATTER WHAT I DO. WORK HEAVY CHEST 2 DAYS A WEEK. IS THIS TOO MUCH. WHAT ARE SOME OTHER SUGGESTIONS? WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD CYCLE TO HELP ME OUT?

Just train it once a week and lift heavy. What kind of exercises are you doing for it now? I like to change my chest routine every month.

Once a week training is worthless for me. I train everybody part twicw a week. However, one day is about half the sets as the other. If you are overtrained though you might train it just once this week. You shouldn't be if you are on gear. ------------------

Hey H, Do you think it is a bad thing to even change your routine on a weekly basis?? What I mean is keep the main excersises like flat and incline bench but do like DB flys 1 week and cables the next week?

Before you go doing a cycle of gear, make sure everything else is in check first. Diet, rest days, training schedule, etc. It's been said a number of times on this board that too many people jump to AS as the magic pill. Quick story. A guy I work with keeps bitching and complaining that his training is going nowhere. He's losing strength, size, etc...He wants to start gobbling down all the latest supplements like the Weider get big crap being endorsed by Triple H of the WWF and creatine and you name it. So I began to dig a little bit to find out what his diet and training is like. Almost never eats breakfast. Maybe a bagel here and there. Lunch is maybe a sandwich and a soda. Dinner...who knows. Along with that, since it's St. Patricks month or some shit like that, he feels obligated to drink 3-4 nights a week. I finally just looked him dead in the face and said..."your results are the product of your efforts! Which is nothing!" Some people just don't get it! Not picking on the newbie of course. Just nail everything else down before you go looking for the magic pill.

Hey bswol, I'll go ahead and be first and say you can drop the declines and add in it's place inclines. That will deffinately help you see your chest sooner. fuzz

as much as i wish it were not true, anytime you find a exercise that you think your, "not to good at" then that is THE exercise you need most. Inclines are harder but they will show you awesopme results. Especially since youve been avoiding them.

Do you do only dumbbells? If so you need to use the barbells to. Try doing more incline instead of the decline presses. ------------------

Fuzzdog nailed that one square on the head. You absolutely need to emphasize on your weak bodyparts otherwise you will develop an uneven unbalanced physique. I recommend that you completely eliminate declines. Try this: Warm-up sets of either bb or db flat presses Flat bb or db presses 4 X 10-12 Incline bb or db presses 4 X 10-12 Flat db flyes 3 X 10-12 Incline flyes 3 X 10-12 Cross bench db pullovers(heavy) 2 X 10-12 I prefer db over bb but it is good to switch up now and then. Forget about cables unless you can be man enough to use light enough weight in order to perform proper technique. Most people blow their form completely using too much weight. Pullovers are great for the upper pecs and are a great finishing exercise. ------------------
