Hay just wondering if any of you guys that live in NY or NJ has ever baught syranges in a local pharmacy. Sorry if this question was kind of stupid to you but i dont know the laws of buying syranges in NY or NJ. however, i do live in NY so if i could in this state it would be better but I dont mind driving to NJ eather. Thanks guys, any help or input appreciated!!     | ||

actually, supposedly, it is legal in NY as of 1/1/01. only participating pharmacies. and they will only sell 10 syringes at a time. i have never heard of anyone who has tried. | ||

Here's the deal with syringes in NYC. You can only buy 10 at a time! I went to a Duane Reade and they asked me to fill out a card so they can get me in their computer system(fake of course, then they gave me my 10 pins and I was on my way! But it's alot cheaper to buy from 2Thick! | ||

PokeMeMon, Deepsquat is incorrect. I live in NY and I know for a fact that last month, NY passed a law that enables you to buy 10 syringes at a time at pharmacies. Not all pharmacies apparently will be obtaining the license to do this, however, CVS's do. Again, this is only as of recently (approx. 1 month) that you can do this. Only 10 at a time you say? Big deal, just cycle three or four pharmacies every month or whatever. They're cheap and they don't ask any questions. I don't know about NJ. | ||

The harmreduction site states that you should call your local pharmacy(of the store chain list that appears on the site) and ask if they participate in the program. For now only some do. The laws in NJ have NOT changed. | ||
