Does Clomid cause acne or is it because when you take Clomid at the end of your cycle your hormones are out of whack? I ask this question because I remember reading that acne was caused by hormonal inbalance. If this is true, then it may only seem that clomid is the cause of acne because your taking it at a time when you would normally get acne anyway (end of cycle when your hormones are out of balance).     | ||

clomid doesn't cause acne. it's just that you happen to be on clomid when you're acne breaks out. this is from producing extra body oils...take 2 showers a day and do some tanning...works for me ------------------ | ||

i took clomid at the of my cycle and i noticed acne within a couple days... on my face, which i never get there, just on my back before...its a hard call. it could be clomid or just the end of cycle, my hormones are all ate up. ------------------ | ||

i agree about the tanning. tanning always helps. i go to the beach a lot cause i live in hawaii, so the salt in the water acts as a disinfectant, and the sun dries the skin out. this definately keeps acne in check! | ||

yeah clomid is not the cause of the acne, its just when you are on clomid when your acne flares. i tan throughout my cycle about eod and if it gets really bad you can take "panthenoic"(sp)acid supp. from any health and nutrition store. take it like 5grams a day for a couple of weeks but no more, hard on the insides | ||

All i know is that i started getting acne bad when I began clomid. I still have it on my shoulders and its been 2 months since. Wish the shit would just go away....lol | ||

i just got through w/ my cycle about a month ago and i was breaking out i started yousing body focus from stridex and it has cleared me up ..........just putting in my 2 cents ph21 ------------------ | ||

Bro, Clomid does not cause spot's it is due to a homone imbalance i think it has somthing to do with estrogen being high after quite a heavy cycle...! You then get the problem of spot's that dont come up to the surface then they are sore and go nasty under the skin this is slowly taken away by your blood but in turn causes toxin's in your blood which can then cause more spot's...! The only solution really is a mild course of anti-biotic's that will clear all of the crap out of your body. How ever you will create a anti-body that will distroy the toxin's more effectively with time...! so after a heavy cycle take a good amount of time off...! ------------------ | ||

I don't think it's the clomid, I think it's just because you are ending your cycle and your hormones are out of balance. It just seems like its the clomid because you take it at the end of your cycle. I didn't use clomid after one of my cycles and I still broke out. ------------------ | ||

Yeah what plifter said, my first 2 cycle were low dosages so i did not take clomid at the end and i had bumbs on my back just like you guys are talking about. It's not the clomid just that your system is screwed up. | ||

I'm very sensible to get acne,I always got it with gears,and I used clomid(medical use)for 2 months,when I was off season(without gears),and I don't get acne. ------------------ |
