OK, I know why we use Clomid - granted. But considering that many many many guys say it causes acne problems (and I have a mild acne problem already).... I was wondering if there are any alternatives? What about HCG? Anything else? Yes yes, I KNOW the importance of what Clomid does, I was just wondering if there is any way to get the same effect without the acne issues that Clomid seems to cause.     | ||

I've really must say that post cycle acne is NOT from clomid! People only believe that they are breaking out at the end of a cycle when they begin clomid. Post cycle acne is due to a flucuation in your bodies hormones. Ever notice you break out at the beginning of the cycle, it calms down a little in the middle and then breaks out again at the end? | ||

I just got done using Clomid (heavily) and I suffered NO acne. | ||

it's the clomid!!!! I've been on plenty of cycles and never experienced any acne except while I used clomid....only used it once...it could be because it brings back your natural test levels sooner which the body has a hard time adjusting to...unlike not using it at all while taking your body a lot longer to bring it's normal state back which has a way of adjusting better...not a doctor, but I think that is right | ||

I think I know hoe clomid gives you acne. My answer however has been posted on the anabolic fitness board....I'm defecting.. LOL Godspeed | ||

Sorry Riker, but to answer your question, an alternative to clomid(not HCG) exists. It is a drug, but is twice more expensive and you need double the dosage. I would be interesting to see wether it gave less acne than clomid. Godspeed | ||

I agree with ryker..go to the Doctor and ask him or her to prescribe you Accutaine. It is a pill that you take, one in the morrning one in he evening. It cleared my acne up pretty quick, and the worst I get now is a pimple or two every so often....The stuff is great.. |
