Just wondering what that does for you guys..thanks.. i keep seein a lot of responses that clomid EOD throughout is a waste so wondering why the mods do it.. I think it was E2 who runs it through but i am not 100% sure who was into that. thanks!     | ||

i am not a mod..but i feel compelled to respond...why would someone take something to jumpstart your body's own natural production of test. while you are cycling and already have an MUCH ELEVATED LEVEL of test..survey says...i don't know..maybe someone can explain ------------------ | ||

I had the same argument with Conan69. No plausible explanation as to why taking Clomid during the cycle helps..... Just me though.... Godspeed | ||

It works as a mild anti-estrogen to help keep off estrogenic edema/gyno.As far as it maintaining natural test levels while on,this is physiologically next to impossible when we look at exactly what it is that clomid does... Testosterone production begins at the hypothalamus,which scans blood levels of estrogens,androgens and other pertinent hormones.In a presence of low androgens and estrogens the hypothalamus will produce leutenizing-hormone-releasing-hormone(LHRH)which in turn stimulates the pituitary to produce leutenizing hormone(LH).LH then signals the leydig cells in the testicles to begin producing testosterone.Hence the Hypothalamic Pituitary Testicular Axis,as production is ran in that order.Now on to the clomid... Clomid is a selective estrogen receptor modulator(much like nolvadex,only their binding capacities are more aggressive in seperate areas).Clomid stimulates L-H-R-H/LH production by binding to ESTROGEN receptors on the hypothalamus and pituitary,thus giving the illusion of a low presence of circulating estrogen.Note the key word here-ESTROGEN.CLOMID DOES NOT BIND ANDROGEN.Therefore,on a cycle of moderate to high amounts of ANDROGENS,clomid will have no effect whatsoever on endogenous testosterone production,as we are in a state of ANDROGENIC inhibition.It's post cycle,when blood levels of androgens begin to normalize and the typical estrogenic rebound/lag occurs,that clomid is able to re-initialize this process of testosterone production.Hope this clears up how clomid works and why to save it for post cycle,unless you're using it as an anti-estrogen...---Huck | ||

I once did 2 identical cycles of 1500mgs of sus each week with 600 deca. One cycle I used the clomid EOD during, and the other, I didnt. My sack went away without it. With it, sack stayed, and stayed after stopping the sus/deca. | ||

The acne is kicking my ass to brothers but is is a small price to pay for the good the drug dose. The reason to take clomid during a cycle is so you dont go hypogonadal which means your balls stop working. It prevents damage to the nuts and keeps them in some working order. I just used clomid first time and went the hole cycle and am keeping erevything and then some. If you dont really care about being about to produce test on your own then clomid thoughout a cycle is a waste. | ||

Huck, you still roaming? I frigging did. On Conans week 2 cycle update, I told him it was a waste of money to use clomid during the cycle, because it did nothing to up-regulate nat.test. I also told him that the only thing that clomid would do in his case would be to work as a mild anti-estrogen(which I stated was weaker than tamoxifen). Godspeed | ||

Well, I'll chime in on this one. I take it, 50mg EOD. Why? Because it does act as an anti estro, and at 1000mg test, 50mg abombs, and 450mg deca (which of course it don't affect) I find that this is my "breaking" point as to getting sore tits! Any less and I'm ok without it. But at the one G level, I have to take it. Now I don't know how much it's going to be good for, aint close to the 2g mark And Fonz, I remember your posts, your thinkng process was correct, you just need to learn to debate and persuade a bit better ------------------ Lobo | ||

thanks huckleberry, I see now how you should only take clomid throughout cycle for an anti-estrogen However, would you prefer Nolvadex at 10mg EOD over cloms at 50mgs EOD for that purpose? because i gotta go one way or the other!! thanks | ||

Yes,if necessary(pre-disposed to gyno)then I would take 10-20mgs/day of nolvadex all throughout the cycle,up until the day of clomid therapy. | ||

If clomid doesn't help maintain endogenous testosterone production during a cycle, would cycling tribulus 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off help keep your own testosterone production going? | ||

NOTHING will override androgens signal at the hypothalamus & pituitary.Unless you're running a short cycle,or dosages are kept miniscule,you're going to have your endogenous T production inhibited... |
