Optimum is good shit.. I dont use it because I can never find a big bottle and that makes it to costly for me.. I use a mix Pro-lab Inlarge2 and 2 scoops of GNC's weight gainer..pay about 30$ for each maybe a little less.

i found the best protein. it's made my maxmuscle. it's called high 5. it's 5 different protiens. i can't get anything off whey cause my metabolism is so fast. this has all different kinds of protein in it including casine. it takes about 4 hours for total digestion and absorbtion. the vanilla custard is delicious, you wouldn't even know it's a protein shake. i've tried everything at gnc, and this works way better. it may be hard to find depending where you live.

eas simply protein 5lb for $26.95. ------------------
Pro Bodybuilder Posts: 453 |
quote: Sure did, bro. I ordered some instantised WPI so the price went up fifty cents per lb... so it's $6.50 I got a good deal on the instantised version so I figured I'd just order that instead of the original. I figured it would mix with just the stir of a spoon, but it's not that much different than the original. Whey ISOLATE is currently the only thing I have in stock.

I don't know BigJay, the prices at stacks and weights are pretty competitive. I compared a couple prices and they all looked real good, but I have not tried any of Stew's protein either so I can't speak from experience there.

All these bros are thinking that they're getting good deals off of their protein because they are only paying 5-6 bucks per lb. I challenge every bro who reads this to divide the amount of their protein by the serving size and see how much they are REALLY paying for protein. Example: If you are getting 50g of protein per serving and your scoop size is 80g, your powder is only 62.5% protein (50/80=62.5). So you are wasting 37.5% of your money. So if you are paying $5 per lb of the powder, you are actually paying $7 per lb for your protein. NOT real economical. Plus that 37.5% of junk that is in there will cause gastrointestinal discomfort in 90% of people. If your protein powder is afraid to list it's serving size, just multiply the amount of protein by 4 to get the number of calories that are from protein. If it's got 50g of protein mulitply by 4 and you'll see that you have 200 calories. Now, if the total number of calories per serving is 400, your product is (200/400) only 50% protein. Do this with all of your "good deals" and see how much your are really getting screwed. Supplement companies make a fourtune by scamming people that don't know much about protein. For instance, I can get glucose polymers for $.50 per lb. Most companies mix GP with concentrate (which I can get for about $2 per lb) and come out with a product that costs them only $1 or so per lb and they sell it for $5. The added sweetners are another thing that bring the production cost down. Sweetner(fructose, sucrose, aspertame, etc) only costs about $.25 per lb. Do you want to pay all that money for something that you could just add your self. Do this test and then talk about what a good deal you are getting.

I go with prolab whey 5 lb for $23.95 at dpsnutrition.com STEW where are you at, I read everyone swearing about your protein, you know I want some, but you don't have it yet. Let us know the deal. Tell those people in France to give you a rebate since they're taking too long w/ the shipment.

I agree with a couple of the others, I just use the Pro Performance from GNC. Used to use the Myoplex, but was spending 200/month. That's nuts! I go through two jugs a month and still have money left over for juice! delts ------------------ |
