Y'all won't believe this. Last night after using a pin I thought I would make it safer for me and my family if I stuck it in a beer can. So I went to the bathroom got a beer can out of the trash and proceeded to stick the syringe in the can needle first(so nobody would accidently good stuck when throwing it away). Well the outer part of syringe was bigger than the opening in the can so I started pushing harder. Next thing I know I pushed so hard the needle came out of the side of the can right in my thumb(a good half inch) OOOOUUUCCHHH!!! Stupid huh? And thinking the reason I did it was to be more safety oriented.    | ||

heres a little hint on a good disposal procedure if you dont have on e already. Go out to the garage and chop the needle up with a pair of dikes or wire cutters, works well and all your left with is a bunch of small pieces that can be safely disposed of.  | ||

I usually just dispose it in the shield that the needle has and throw it away. | ||

I have about 4 million protein containers around - just put the protective sheath back on the pin and put it in the protein containers (empty ones) - then when it is full throw it out. if you are really concerned, duct tape or superclue the lid shut. ------------------ | ||

I put the plastic cap back on it, unscrew it and throw it in the pop can, you can also work the syringe itself in afterwards and then crunch the can flat. ------------------ | ||

In the UK we get sharps boxes with the needles, just throw all needles in boxes, then hand in at chemist, hospital,etc | ||

fill up a coffee can and then fill it will QUIK Crete(concrete), cost about 2$ and then throw the damn thing a dumpster. No one will never know what it is and no one will ever get hurt by it........ | ||

hah..thats funny, i just use a creatine bottle..put the syringes back in the plastic packages after i use them and stick them in a creatine container, throw the container away after each cycle and use another one. |
