I would start him with some test and Dbols since he is a beginner. Ha Ha. Im just fuckin around. 12 is still pretty young. I would actually start him out just doing things like pushups, situps, pullups and things like that. I wouldnt start good weight training until he is like 14 or so. Let the boy grow. ![]() ![]() ![]()

IVE BEEN MESSING AROUND WITH WEIGHTS SINCE I WAS 4, MY DAD, WAS BIG IN IT, AND WHENEVER HE WAS LIFTING I WOULD TOO. JUST KEEP THE WEIGHT LIGHT, AND STICK TO THE BASICS MOVEMENTS, AND 3 SETS OF 10 EACH. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

TEMEX, I'm a personal trainer. Email me and I'll email you a workout plan. Also, 12yrs old is not too young to start working out with free weights. There is this myth that working out too young will stunt your growth...it won't. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I started at 12 and I'm 6'5 so no I don't think lifting at that age will stunt growth either. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]()

It won't stunt growth, but could give him joint complications later on in life... ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Like stated above, pushups, pull-ups, and sit-ups. Then when he is comfortable with his weight, move on to free weights. ------------------ Great Information on Injections and Syringes ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Sure get him started now 12 isn't too young. have him go light and get him use to the right technique in free weights. A lot of being able to lift heavy is having proper technique, teach him right, and start him very slow. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I would keep him away from deas and squats...even though there is no proof these may be the two exercises that put pressure on the spine (EVEN WHEN DONE CORRECTLY) AND COULD POSSIBLY STUNT GROWTH). Also keep him away from the standing calf raise as this has tendency to put alot of pressure on the spine too. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I wish I would have started at 12, you would be watching me at the O this year. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]()

Get him started now! But make sure he uses perfect form. The tendons and joints are weak and under developped at that age. If you don't watch him very carefully don't let him do Squats and Deadlifts. Make sure he learns these before he starts doing them alone. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

keep him doing basic exercises, reps at the 12-15 level and keep to proper form....emphasis that it is just as important to lower the weight as it is to raise it ....tell hom something like 3seconds each direction....pretty tough to cheat when it takes 6 seconds per rep! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Keep him away from roids. Teach him the importance of a good diet, healthy life-style, good supplements, and technique. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
