Fellas, Been away awhile and here's why... I was just off my ref-b,cyp,primoteston,eq cycle and had put on about 25lbs and was the biggest I have ever been.(229lbs @ 5'9")I contracted pneumonia which has kept me out of the gym for 2 weeks and completely ruined my appetite. I went from eating 4-6 times daily 5 to eating once a day. Today is the first day that I have been hungry. Not to metion the quality of food I have been eating sucks. I was so pissed that I ended up drinking heavily over the weekend.( I figured fuck it). Which did nothing for my recovery or my appetite. I am now down to 206 and looking like shit. However, I am back in the gym on Monday and I am going to punish myself for my lack of discipline. Hopefully I'll get back to where I was quickly. I am already shopping for my next cycle in about five weeks. Anyone ever been in a similar situation. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who may have some advice or a story to share. Indeed the worst thing your could do would be to physically punish yourself by making a hasty return toward your prior training regemine and schedual. Gradually reemmerse yourself back into your training. That little bit of stimuli alone in conjunction with your returned appitite will yield you some nice "rebound" muscle. Coming off a bout of bronchitous Im all to aware of the rigors of respitory distress. It sucks hard, you come back flat, soft, and week. Trust me, fuel your body alone with food, a solid multi-vit mineral complex and an anti -ox. Give your body a couple weeks to readjust to the stresses of resistance training. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I didn't get pneumonia, but I did have a similar situation. I had just finished a solid cycle. I gained about 20lbs. and ended up with a solid 16 lbs. However, a month after I finished my cycle, I had to get oral surgery. It put me in bed for about a week and a half and I was poppin Vicodin every three hours. I was eating at all either, cuz I couldn't. I could only eat yogurt and milk, but I didn't have an appetite. I lost 13 frickin pounds in those couple weeks. I just took off from the gym for another month, and continued to not eat a lot. Then, I pumped myself up, started lifting hard, and ate tons. I gained all the weight back in about three weeks, and I felt great about it cuz i almost felt natural. Just be patient. Your muscles now have the capacity to get back to 229 even naturally. It'll come. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I feel ya bro...if I take a break for anything more than a few days I start losing it, and when I go back it's a struggle. Good luck, and I think the advice earlier about a slow ease into your previous routine with a good diet will help you cut your losses, and steal some back. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
