I was just having a great conversation with someone who used to frequent this board a couple years ago. We were remembering when George first started with this board. Remember the discussion boards back in 1999? Better yet, 98? I think there were 3 mods. E2, El Cubano....they are the elders. It's great to see that they are still as active as ever. Remember Dino Strong? Is he still around? He always gave great advice...I still remember his last post before he retired as a mod....crazy how far this board has come in just a couple years. Anybody else remember??? I commend you George!! Web sites, additional discussion boards, the select board, the reports, supplements....and NOW STEALTH MESSAGING! All of your efforts shine through. This is a great board and I think it is safe to say that we all GREATLY APPRECIATE everything you have done here.

This board was the best back in '97 (old format) when there weren't any monitors- they weren't needed because REAL vets kept the idiots(idiotic posts) in check.

MOONFACE!!!!! I didn't know that was you BigJay!! I remember when I first found elite I saw you posting and I was like shit, I wonder if everyone gets moonface. I was afraid when I first used dbol that my jaw was going to bloat up and I was going to look like some kind of circus side show.

Do you guys remember the Hulkster? He used to have some pretty decent newsletters. His stacking suggestions made sense but his dosages would probably be laughed at now days. That was back when newbies used the decrease the days cycle or that whacked out deca, primo, winny stack that had deca for 8 weeks, primo for the middle 6 and winny for the middle 4. That dosing scheme never really made sense to me but people said it worked well so go figure. Animal used to post on elite back then as well. The format was kind of shitty though and hard to navigate through.

Don't get me wrong, I still like the board, but I loved it back then. This board brought me a long way. Any question I had got answered. I remember when there were only like 10 posts a day, and now there's hundreds. There's almost too many posts for me to handle now. I can't read them all like I used to be able to. I remember the arguments that went on, and I especially remember how long sources lasted back then. Sources now are gone in seconds. Those were the good 'ol days.

Hell yes, Hulkster and Hulkster,Jr. were pioneers. There was always good info in the newsletters - comprehensive diet plans, some good cycle stuff, scammers and good guys - always looked forward to them. Actually, Elite is a little weird right now, but it great to see you men post who have been around along time - and with reasonable numbers of posts- you must also have a life.

I remember Dino Strong but I must correct you on one point E2 was not an original Mod.
He was just made a Mod probably within a year ago. When he wasn't a mod he responded to everything. He had thousands of posts. I also remember the first source that was suggested by him, man, would his face be red if that got out now .... lol

I kind of agree with Bigjay it changed a lot but not for the better. It used to be an everyday visit to the site. Now I pop in once a week and it's the same questions. I regret that I missed The Cubans swan song he has been a good bro and very helpful and giving of his time. Many good Bros are leaving and thats bad.But I tell ya if you want to find some of them.......

I remember when i first came across the message board in 97', I did a search on steroids in Yahoo and Elite popped up. Ever since then ive been a loyal fan. I also remember my first question for my fist cycle:"If the dart hits the sciatic nerve in my glute, will i become paralyzed?"........ah,those were the days.

Still the best info in the world can be found here!
I remember back in the early 80s at the gym , No one would fucking help you with gear info.
I have learned more reading Elite than people who have been in the game forever.

In the winter of 1997, there was an actual doctor from France (Dr. L) who posted here for a few months. It is not clear if he was an endocronologist or not but he stated he was treating male patients with hormonal disorders.

He was very dismayed by the class and high dosages of drugs that was advocated here. He was a staunch advocet of Proviron for treatment of hypogonadism. He dispensed a lot of advice and he even closely looked at the individual cases of the posters (including blood tests). His posts were very informative and it was great to see an actual physician with interest in hormonal disorders to post here.

Oh wow! Your right E2 was'nt an oringinal mod!! I forget. He was/is very active in educating people on this subject.
As time went on, internet got bigger and this board did too. A lot of hassle, but I still think it is great that you can come here and see how many people have this sport(s) in common....love this board...I like "The Other Board too".....I think anyone who has not yet been there should go there. It's educational.

Speeking of original members, I'm glad to see that I'm still remembered!!! It's been over 3 years since I posted to this board, and man has it ever changed. I pretty much lost contact with all my old friends; Big Canuck, Maximum Overdrive, Myophyber, Trek Armice, Mighty Mic, Lil Rob, Dr. Vet, Hulkster and at least a dozen others. I finished University and now work for a very large Pharmaceutical company in Toronto.

I guess this means I'm back!

Yep, there were no mods back in the days. I remember the good days in '95/'96. Some of the best info we have in the archives came from these days when PA, Animal, Big Canuck, Hulkster, Unique, Dr. VET, etc. were around. It was like a kid in a candy store learning from these guys. BTW, Juice Monkey, I still remember that D-BOL and Cypionate cycle you took back in the day.

Yeah, we sure had fun back then. I haven't done any d-bol since that last eq/d-bol/test cycle. To tell the truth, I've been off the sauce for 2 whole years while I established a career. But now that things are in a good grove, and I have access to an entire pharmaceutical industry, I intend do some very exotic cycles in the very near future. I always wanted to make a 250mg/cc blend of boldenone undecyclenate and methandriol dipropionate.

Out of all the boards elitefitness I have some strange attraction to it. Weird but good.

I think a lot of guys today have brass balls big enough to come in a dump truck. Maybe everyone has been de-sensitized by all of the andro supplements and figures they need to one-up these "natural" lifters. I just think the newbies feel they need to take more juice because the veterans do. I was happy with my measly 5 dbol when MAX OVERDRIVE was shooting an amp of sustanon every day! Oh well, what can we do but hope there's an available liver and kidney when organs start shutting down. "Just think of all the great stuff I can take when I get a new liver!!"

While this is true Mikey it is in our nature.Elite Fitness was a different board than it is now.

Alot of the guys that post today and think they are steroid gurus would not have the nuts to post back then. They would have been flamed by there pseudo-knowledge that's limited to magazines, e-zines, and the so called books

Anything other than personal experience smells of BS.
