iam going to be taking 4 ius after work out folowing by a n large shake which will have 88 g of carbs, to my knowledge this should be good enough, then 2 hours later have a meal that will consist of 50 g of protein about 60 gs of carbs, well all my meals are obout 50g protein and about 50 - 80 g of complex carbs
any sugestions

The 10grams of carbs per iu is very generous. You can go to 5grams per iu with no problem. I have done it with no hypoglycemic signs. I take 10 to 15ius post workout with 50 to 75grams of carbs 20mins after shot and a shake at hr 1 and a good balanced meal at hr 2.5. I try to stay under 10grams of fat in the 4 hr active time.

5g carb will be enough... But try 10 at first, just to be safe. I have found that the twinlab ultra fuel is good for carbs. 4iu wont do too much unless you are super sensitive. I had good results with 15-20 iu post workout. I got noticeable size gains, and about 7lbs on the scale in 4 weeks. Stay away from fat, even 10g is too much during the active time. You will get fat from 10g of fat while insulin is active. Also add some creatine at 20-20g and 40g of glutamine with it. Thats what i did.

I am contmplating using insulin...I'm interested in the Humalog. Anyone with experince with it?

Humalog is the way to go if you can get it. However, most places require a script for the Humalog.

I use humalog @ 16IU. I take in between 65 and 100g carbs with the shot and then 50g more of carbs and 50g of protein @ 1 hour. I am not on T3 or gear and I am not seeing any increase in bodyfat. My pumps are great and my muscles look full and feel hard. I haven't put on any lbm since starting, I was hoping I might.

I think that the time that you are on should depend on how much you take and how often you take it. I took mine 3x a week only and at low doses...so I didn't worry about it too much.

so if i was going to shoot slin at 10iu post-workout only, would you advise to have a shake first then food , or food after shot then shake later , and does it need to be just carbs worry about getting in or protein also....
