I'm coming up on a fina cycle, and I'm considering a split routine. It will probably run about 2hrs in the morning and another 2 in the afternoon. I need to know your thoughts on the split routine. I did one last year about this time. It seemed to really take its toll on my joints, mainly my elbows and shoulders, took me months to recover. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I had some great results lifting twice a day when my schedule allowed it. I used to train at lunch and then again after work. Many times I would go lighter at lunch (tough for me to do -- a mental thing) and then pound it out after work.
