If you find a good way to tighten skin after fat loss be sure and post it or e-mail me. I just dropped 20 lbs and my mid section is looser than I would like. giantset

Ok, first off, if you lost a large amount of fat from your midsection that you had for a long time, it might take a good month before you ever notice it tightening up. This is because it was stretched out for such a long period of time, it will just gradually tighten. What's worse, on some individuals, it will never tighten. The only alternative to it is a "tummy tuck". If you have a lot of stretch marks, you can just about forget it. The skin there has been stretched so much that the elasticity is totally gone. This is why it is very important to not get totally bloated in the off-season. Arnold stayed relatively lean year round, for example. I have 2 clients that have both followed my cutting diet for just over 4 weeks. These 2 both have lost over 20 lbs a piece already and one is having alot of problems with his skin staying loose. All the sauna will do is temporarily reduce water around the midsection. As soon as you drink a glass of water, the water goes straight back there. By the way, sun and tanning beds have been known to decrease elasticity. There is a possibility that an individual could appear fat and not be. Some people, regardless of estrogenic effects of AAS, naturally hold more water around the gut. Lowering sodium intake which will reduce water retention might help. Also, drinking 2 gallons of water a day will help. The more you drink the more your body realizes it is getting, therefore it is less apt to hold onto any extra. This should help in tightening also. Enough rambling, I hope I helped. ------------------

In case anyone is wondering I read this at ironmag.com. It was an article about cutting up for a contest. The guy said to sit in the sauna for a half an hour three times a week. He said it was like frying chicken? Not sure what he ment by that. Also what some have mentioned with the water has a lot to do with it. I figure I might as well try it cause it can't hurt to try. ------------------

When leaving the sauna all you did was loosing water and the minute you drink NO MATTER WHAT, your body keeps the fluid to restore the balance. As for loose skin (lucky me i don't have that problem and never will, i hope), i would wear a bandage for a month or so. You see i have a bad back and whenever needed i where a bandage for the pain. After doing so for a few days my skin is thighter, so this could be worth the effort. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short

I lost 50lbs of weight for my show last april. I hold all my fat in my stomach and lower back region also. a few things you can do to help. (got the tips from Lee Preist, Lori Vanaline, and some other guy at the Arnold last year.) 1. Drink at least 1 1/2 gallon of water a day spaced out evenly. 2. Take MSM...it is known as a joint healer, but the sulfer helps tighten the skin. 3. Make sure that you are getting enough Zink, this directly effects the amount of water your body holds, and your sex drive. 4. Do not over use the tanner, it is a short term solution and creates a long term problem of a loss of elastisity (sp) in the skin. once a week or so is plenty. 5. Take extra Vitimin E...this is very important, E is what keeps your skin elastic. 6. I found that using "NIVEA BODY SKIN FIRMING LOTION" to be the bomb..you must put it on at critical times, like after showering, your skin is the driest and it will loose elastisity...it is $10.00 a bottle (12fl.OZ.) it is well worth it. I did this before I got the rest of the information and it really helped out. 7. Use the sauna for a short time use, and if you do use lotion afterwards KEY***GIVE IT A FULL MONTH AND I CAN ASSURE YOU, YOU'LL SEE RESULTS, GREAT ONES. Eliminating milk and other dairy products will loose water and fat under the skin faster than you will belive! it will blow your mind on how well you'll look... contact me and I'll show you a pic of my show good luck everyone!! ------------------
