i'am currently injecting finaplix into my quads 80/eod with BD 23g 1 inch syringes. when i inject i use the right procedure by stretching the skin and drawing back before injecting but for some reason i bleed alot and i don't know why . any ideas???     | ||

Anytime you inject and bleed alot you have punctured through a vein. When you draw back do you draw any blood into your syringe? ------------------ | ||

no i don't draw in any blood, but mabye im not drawing back enough . i was told that if your in a vein blood will come into the needle by just drawing back a little. is this true? | ||

Hmm, You may have punctured all the way through the vein and it starts to bleed when you remove the needle. Does this happen to you often? ------------------ | ||

If you got a decent bruise, then you went thru a vien, Dont stretch the skin, if anything pinch it a little but not necessary. You may just be a bleeder, sometimes I bleed more than others, it could that your blood is thinned and not coagulating, due to something you have been taking. | ||

I agree I never stretch the skin that will make you bleed. I only bleed a drop or 2. | ||

yes this happens every time sometimes i bleed more than others , it bleeds as soon as i withdraw the needle . i also feel a rush throughout my body and i don't know if this is normal. | ||

thanks for the help timac , but i never really got any answers , it dosn't squirt blood it trickles for a minute but im new to this and don't know if that's normal, mabye you can help | ||

just thinking ,im injecting into my quads , should i try somewhere else , and all that stuff about being light headed and stuff, that exactly how i feel for about a minute . could this be cause im nervous ? | ||

try some other injection spots, delts or glutes. you need a 1.5 inch for the ass though. | ||

All I have ever done is quads until this past weekend, when I did the ass. The bleeding is just what some bro's said, you went through a vein. If you aspirate and only bubbles come into the pin, you are cool. Shoot it in. However, if you went through the vein, when you pull the pin out, you will bleed. Heck, sometimes I bleed a lot, and sometimes I don't. Here is a tip if you don't already know it. Sit down and stretch your leg out. Put your fingertips at the top of your knee-cap, and put your hand down on the outer part of your quad. Where the end/heel of your hand is, will be a good spot. Flex your quad and you can see where the denses part of the muscle is. Now, relax your quad and yourself, and fire away. Like some bro's said, don't stretch the skin. Also, try not to lean you hand up against your leg and try not to let the pin move around. Once your done, put an alcohol pad over it and rub for a minute or so. If you are still bleeding, do a few squat or lunge motions(no weight). This will help close up the vein a little quicker. |
