I do deadlifts & good mornings on Mondays witch i have no problem with. On Wednesday its time for legs, i start with squats & my lower back stiffens up witch makes it hard to work legs good. Do you guys think i should just drop the good mornigs & put more days between deadlift workouts & leg workouts? Thanks for any help!

I do stiff legged Deads after i squat on leg day!

I don't think you need more days inbetween but I would reccommend dropping the good mornings

Doing dead's twice a week is too much in my opinion. When I do deads its once a week and my lower back muscles hurt for 2-3 days afterwards.. I couldn't do them twice a week, I just wouldn't recover fast enough. Take a little longer between squats and deads too.

The erector spinae muscles(low back) are the slowest to recuiperate and heal. This would indicate they are the easiest to overtrain. The very reason many people suffer back problems or low back discomfort.

you might want to do your deads just every 2 weeks ,many of the world class powerlifters do deads every 10-14 days
