I was injured early December, had surgery 12/20. I did not work out at all between the injury and late January. My (injured)right leg is mildly atrophied, but very weak. I had the patella graft, and my patella tendon is very sore. Regardless, I need to go on a cycle. My bench is down nearly 75 lbs., and my whole body feels weak under the weights. I am dying to do a cycle. My question. Is my (injured leg) weakness due mainly to muscular atrophy, or the knee joint? If I do a cycle, am I risking having a big upper body and freakish f'd up skinny looking legs, even though I am working my ass off in rehab with mega reps, light weight? I am 6'5, 280, lineman body. The weakness (mainly upper body) is killing me, but I don't want my upper body to get so far ahead of my wheels. Any ideas bro? ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Well, you just had your knee worked on not to long ago so your leg will be weak(its due to both a weak knee joint, and muscle atrophie). I know what your going through(i'm going through something similar but a lot worst), and my best advice would be: get back to were you were naturally then hit a cycle, make sure your leg is almost 100%, rehab it, and let your strengh come back. If you hit a cycle, you well get stronger, but what about your weak Knee joint? Something like this takes time, so don't rush it, b/c you dont' want another injury. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
