Thinking of going in and doing it. I dont have too bad of gyno, but I am sure I will someday. Just wondering. I have heard of people doing it while awake, and others going under.

Well, I am interested in this topic also. I have heard it costs aroun $5K, but could the price vary depending on how bad the gyno is? I am probably like WC, I have a little in both nipples, but not bad. They are really puffy, and it shows up when I wear a jockey or BVD white-cotton tee-shirt. I got gyno from a test & deca cycle, but I wasn't sure which one the gyno was from. I had to stop my current fina cycle today because the winny(50mgs ed from IP) wasn't helping any at all. I have heard here that once you have gyno surgery you won't get it ever again. Is this true? If so, does that go for progesterone induced gyno also? I apologize for any stupid or petty questions, but this is a serious matter for me.

I've got some gyno and I'm trying to get my insurance to pay for the operation. The surgeon estimated $4500 for me. As far as being permanent what I have read is that they can completely remove your glands which will prevent it from returning but they normally don't do this because it causes you to lose any sensation in your chest area. It can be done with a local anesthetic or they can put you under. I guess that's the anesthesthisiologists decision. I'd rather be awake during the procedure. I'll post to the board when I learn more. I hope to have the procedure within the next 2 months.

Ive had surgery, actually had it in December. I had a very very slight case of gyno which came from a simple winny, primo eq cycle. However the winny may have had some suspension in it.

anyway. THe surgery generally costs $3000-$5000. I paid 0.

my insurance covered it all.

I went under instead of staying awake. THe pain wasnt too bad and i was back in the gym in a little over a week. back doing chest in 2 weeks.

if you get it removed it can come back, unless you get the entire gland removed, however then it will leave a rather ugly indention in your chest.

hope this helps....

Had a small lump removed about 2.5 years ago.
Can barely see a scar (very faint semi circle), no one notices it, especially with a tan. Procedure was painless, just a couple of stiches. I actually had an HMO that paid for it, so my out of pocket was $15. Just make sure the surgeon doesn't take any nipple, or more importantly, any pec muscle as then your chest will look deformed.
