i've been putting it off for a couple wks now but i finally decided to get up early this morning and start runnnig. i have a couple questions though. 1st, i heard that your body doesn't even start burning calories until like 20 minutes of cardio, is that true?? cause like this morning i ran a little over a mile and it took like 15 minutes on an empty stomach. so does that mean that it didn't do any good? i'll build up to more eventually i'm just wondering. 2nd, i know that it's best to run in the morning on an empty stomach, and that's what i plan on doing on tuesday and thursday when my classes don't start till 9:30. but, i'm not a morning person and i have class at 8:00 on monday wednesday and friday and it's hard enough for me to just wake up on time. so on those days, i can go into a little workout room at my school at 12:00 when classes are over and use their treadmills, bikes, and stairclimbers. will doing cardio at that time after which i'll probably have eaten 2 small meals be near effective as doing it earlier on the empty stomach? i'll appreciate any help, thanks. |
