I posted this on the Anabolic Board, because this is the one I visit. I don't go to the CHAT board -- it's absolutely useless. I visit this board commonly at work when I get some time. But seeing a banner that tasteless makes it look like I'm visiting porn sites. I'll have a difficult time posting here if this continues. And, 2Thick, if you have a problem with me, feel free to discuss your issues through e-mail or ICQ. ------------------     | ||

I think I'm on the fence about this. One way you have to know that George has to make money from Puting that advertisment up Thats why this board is up and running to "SELL" products But on the other hand Alot of pepople can't acess this site because of the ADDS running. But I think it should be discussed. ------------------

I agree, and I also only use this site while at work (nice job huh?). But the fact remains for me using a site that deals with illegial anabolic steroids, is as bad as a porn site. So I have to be careful about it anyways. ------------------ | ||

I don't have a problem with the advertisements, but the manner by which the ads use to attach customers. It won't draw people to the ads, but hinder them from accessing the site in the first place. ------------------ | ||

The server equipment, software, and the labor costs to run this thing aren't cheap. I'm not saying that the chat board is any better, but I don't see those guys bitching about you on a daily basis. We are all supposed to be in this together to achieve the perfect human form, so why don't you help each other out instead of looking for new things to bitch about. I guess some people's lives are so miserable that they try to fuck with everyone else to bring them down to their level. Once again, this isn't to all my brothers and sisters on the anabolic board, just the haters. | ||

Like I said before, we are all in this for the same reason so for me to put you down would just make me a hypocrite. I am big enough to say so IF I made a mistake. So be it. I have given you guys a way to take care of the situation on your own. Take my advice if you want, email me and I'll even give you the URL of a few warez sites that has it. Corleone you've only been here a month so your opinion means nothing to me. People that have put their time in and actually helped others like BigJay have my respect and I won't critise them whether I disagree of not. I agree that the ads are necessary for income generation and to keep the sight up and running but let's be sensitive to all of us who use it at work. An ad about protein doesn't need to say "Cum have a 3 way", maybe this is why so many "kids" have been attracted to this board. Sure we talk about steroids but let's keep professional. | ||

Lose the banner! I also access the site from work. Its also not just a matter of someone seeing it on your monitor. Usually most iron brothers can access this site safely because it doesn't trip any flags where web activity is monitored. But when you start throwing in words like sex, cum, etc. I can say with great confidence that it can/will cause trouble for some. C'mon George, there are better ways to sell your stuff than this. | ||

I'd just like to say that SDGymRat was one of the first people to offer me some help when I started asking questions on this board, so..Thanks. I also use this board when I'm at the office, and the ads don't cause me problems. Its the fact that it is obviosely a discussion board, and the title bar says "anabolics". | ||

I've been here a month, but been training hard since I was 8 years old. I'll never be out of shape, because I'm an athlete who plans on competing at least another 15 years. Actually Rotten, I don't fight unless it's in a studio, wrestling room or any other training facility. I got into trouble a few years ago for assault, so I've learned to control myself. I never rely on friends to back me up, although if I'm going to get jumped(which is what usually happens because people are too pussy to fight me alone) they'll be there for me. I'm going to end this conversation right here, because it's no use getting into it over the internet, because there's alway's punks like you who like to talk trash while hiding behind the computer. I realized long ago it's not worth it, because everyone's tough on the computer. So keep running your mouth, while I'll be training to do the real thing. ------------------ | ||

I too have to jump on GymRat's wagon here The banner doesn't help people who access this site from work- I am one of them- people go buy don't know what the site is about and only remember seeing CUM. That ain't gonna sit well with anybody in the corporate world. By the way I do not post much but i'm around, and I yet have to read any bitching from Gymrat.
