Been reading some stuff from a bunch of different websites about deca and from what I've read deca seems to have very little side effects. For example doesn't convert to DHT (BIG Concern for my hairline!!!)however does aromatize somewhat to estrogen. Also heard that it might impair sexual potency so its recommended that it be stacked with a testosterone. Now I have also heard that you should never mix deca with propecia or proscar, not sure why just heard that doing so is real bad. If deca doesnt convert to DHT then there wouldn't be too much need for the finesteride but stacking it with another test would raise the DHT-balding problem again. Can anyone shed anymore light on the way deca and finesteride conflict? As always thanks in advance. *Disclaimer- this question is posed purely on the basis of increasing bio-chem knowlege*

I am not under the impression it converts to estrogen. It does aromatize, is a powerful anabolic and unfortunately it can cause gyno which certain popular anti-e's dont have too much effect on. For this reason testosterone is much better. You can use nolva, proviron, clomid, armidex and a host of other goodies to prevent the aromatization. These can prevent fat storage, water retention, gyno and so on. Deca can convert to progesterone. So far the only thing I know of to combat this is RU 486 which is quite expensive on the black market. Winstrol can help a little but it is not a cure to the problem. It is one of those things that happens to some but not to others. ------------------

Deca alone converts to DHN, which is very easy on the hair. Propecia inhibits deca from converting to DHN and remains as nandrolone. Nandrolone supposedly is very harsh on the hairline. My info isn't from personal experience, only what I have read throughout these threads. |
