Although I don't have to many posts, I have been lurking here for over a year. Basically, I have been keeping my mouth shut and my ears open like a good newbie. I know I have read some posts regarding Arimidex reducing sides like gyno and water retention. Would it also reduce other sides like hair loss as well?

Great question - bump. Woonder if Nolvadex is the same (althiugh a bit less effective). From what I have read so far, these will hold back the side effects, but you sacrifice some gains. For guys like me that dont really want 30lbs in a cycle, this may be a good option.

Riker, That's my thoughts. I'm willing to sacrifice gain somewhat if the sides can be eliminated.

No. Test causes hair loss by mutating the cells responsible for excreting keritin into the hair bulb. More info

No. Arimidex will only eliminate estrogenic side effects like gyno and water retention. Hairloss is not an estrogenic side effect, so Arimidex will not help.

I found this helpful information for you all at ARIMIDEX.com. Feel free to check it out yourself. WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS OF ARIMIDEX? The common side effects seen with ARIMIDEX in clinical trials versus tamoxifen include hot flushes (26.5% vs 23.1%), nausea (18.6% vs 20.7%), decreased energy and weakness (16.4% vs 15.9%), pain (13.8% vs 14.3%), back pain (11.9% vs 13.3%), bone pain (10.7% vs 10.2%), and increased cough (10.9% vs 10.2%). Joint pain/stiffness has been reported in association with the use of ARIMIDEX This is just a comparison vs tamoxifen.

I used Arimidex for over three months straight at 1/2 mg. twice per week with *no* side effects whatsoever. |
