I'm starting tomorrow a 35 min cardio session 5x week on empty stomach to cut ut a bit. How long after i come back can i have my first meal? Right away? Wait one hour!?!

When I do cardio in the mornings I eat as soon as I get home afterwards.

A friend of mine once told me that he read on this magazine, i don't remember the name ( famou one ) that the best thig was to run the faster you can for 25 minutos, and don't eat for one hour after getting back home.... then eat. ever heard of this?

You can eat when ever you want but cardio usually supresses your appetite for awhile. The nice thing about doing cardio in the morning on an empty stomach is that it starts the fat burning process and keeps it going for some time after.

i'll do 20 minutes with intensity then. any explanation for this? what is the reason for less time with intensity??

If you want you can eat right after, it will not have a major effect. But remember that after your cardio your body is still buring Kcals(at a higher rate than normal) When I'm droping BF, I like to wait until 20-30min after maybe longer, it depends. Or if you really need to get something in you, have a protein shake, or something that is low in CHO... Hope this helps.

I always wait 1 hr after the cardio is done to eat, then have a good breakfast with lots of protein. It's worked for me.

The prime time for fat utilization on an empty stomach is during exercise. Yes, the metabolism will still be up there, but eating 20 min or so after training won't matter much.

well, I have been doing cardio on an empty stomach now for over 6 weeks...I'm getting super ripped too...I usually come home after and take my time and make a shake...I guess you can say that I eat maybe a good 40 minutes after I do my cardio in the morning...It really doesn't matter though...Coming home and eating right away or eating two hours later won't really make a difference..
