I drink water all day long, stretch at the gym, jog a little to warm up but I still cramp up almost all the time. ANd when doing ab's the cramping is ridiculous, feels lik my stomach is about to break into two pieces...any tips for avoiding this?

I have the same problem, especially when on Primo and winny, I just do less reps on abs, I have read conflicting material on how many you should, some people say do as many as you can until failure, and some say keep reps low.

Can't cramping be a sign of low levels of potassium. Seems I've heard that.

Eat a banana .. if that doesn't help, try some diet tonic water with Quinine.

Are you taking creatine? If so, that could be the culprit

anabolic 24\7 is right , it is due to low potasium levels , most weight gainers have alot in them so does bannanas and shit . personaly i like to drink cytomax about 4-5 servings a day , best sports drink out i think . plus it helps my forearms from pumping up while racing motocross ! ------------------

It's more than just potassium, it's a combination of all of your electrolytes being drained quicker from the gear. You need a good potassium/magnesium supplement. I had awful cramps before all the time and now I take about 4-5 of these per day and it helps big time. A banana just won't do, trust me. Also take extra calcium before bedtime, that is also one of the key minerals you need to keep up to avoid the imbalance you are experiencing. |
