I just read an old post located in page 3 , that talks about Deca ang gyno. I am confused now because according to all the research that I had done, Deca was supposed to be one of the safest AS to use. That is why it is so high priced and counterfited. According to the gyno post WINNY dramaticaly reduces the chance of getting gyno while using Deca. I am taking 400 mg of test and 400 mg od deca how much WINNY should I take?? Thanks    | ||

50MGs of Winny EOD will do ya good. Deca does not convert to estrogen, but it may aromatize into a progesterone like molecule. This molecule binds to the progesterone receptor and gives ya breasts. This is why Winstrol use is ideal. The Winstrol is an anti-progesterone which blocks the receptors and eliminates the chance of gyno. Also, anti-estrogens like Nolvadex will not help in this situation. ------------------  | ||

Deca does exhibit progestagenic activity at the receptor level, but to say nortestosterones do not aromatize to estrogen is not entirely true. J Steroid Biochem 1989 May;32(5):729-35 Aromatization of 19-norandrogens by porcine Leydig cells. Raeside JI, Renaud RL, Friendship RM The aromatization of norandrogens was investigated with highly purified preparations of Leydig cells from mature male pigs. Cell incubations with norandrostenedione and nortestosterone gave rise to large amounts of estrone sulfate in the medium as determined directly by a specific radioimmunoassay (RIA). Estrogen production was at least equal to that seen with androstenedione and testosterone as substrates. Similar findings were made with cells in culture for 5 days before addition of the androgen substrates in a 4h-test of aromatase activity. Stimulation of estrogen formation was noted when cells were exposed for 48 h to either hCG (0.5 i.u.) or FGF-beta (10 ng) daily, as a pretreatment, before adding androstenedione for the test of aromatase activity. Little or no increase was seen with norandrostenedione or nortestosterone as substrate. Further evidence for estrogen production was obtained from HPLC separations of metabolites of cell incubations with norandrostenedione and [14C]nortestosterone monitored by RIA and radioactivity, respectively. It is suggested that norandrogens could serve as important substrates for aromatization in the boar testes. | ||

From my experiences with Deca, I have come to the conclusion that I will only use it when there is nothing else available on the Earth. I don't think it's worth taking because of the sexual side effects. And yes, it did aggrevate my gyno. | ||

never had gyno problems or sexual problems before while on deca, and this was just deca, no test or anything, never really had any sides from it, I think it is an excellent drug | ||

I think that 600mg per week or more is about how much it takes on average to possibly give you gyno. At 400mg per week, you should be fine. You are using winny anyway so don't sweat it. People also like mixing it with test to avoid deca dick as well. ------------------ | ||

I also never experienced any sexual problems until after cycles with deca....everyone reacts differently though. |
