What does your tri routine look like? I've been getting excellent growth since I started doing close-grip bench regularly. Weighted dips are good for tri size too, but can potentially be very bad on the shoulders.

Try incorporating some drop sets and/or some rest-pause sets into your routine. Your muscles have no choice but to grow when you introduce this type of training. It is torture, but you will grow nicely. -TG

You need to slo down your exercises, use perfect form and go to failure. You may say that you are already doing it...But don't lie to yourself. Try a combo pull-over and skull crusher with the correct form). We will need to see your routine first. Also how long has it been since you have changed your routine? ------------------ Great Information on Injections and Syringes

since we do chest and tris on the same day I rearly do close grip but if it works that good I will be sure to do that!!! Our routine is just about everything you can do for tris, I really do push them to the limit or is this too much? thanks ------------------

I agree with close grip bench, weighted dips (or dip machine..I alternate), I can't think of the name right now (somebody help me out please), but I take a dumbell...hold it above my head with both hands...bring it down slowly behind my head then bring it back over my head (making sure I don't lock my elbows) to full muscle failure. I personally would not reccomend doing chest and tri's on the same day. I usually do bi's and tri's on the same day. [This message has been edited by whodaman (edited February 08, 2001).]

If you are doing tris on the same day as chest then you should not work as hard since they are worked when you do chest. Doing 2-3 sets of 8-10 should be more than enough after chest. ------------------ Great Information on Injections and Syringes

even though this is off the subject......get some test prop and inject in the tri's. It will hurt because prop always hurts, but it will make the tri's bigger.

I work my tris hard and it just takes time. Out of all the lifts I see in the gym I would say tri work is the most often done incorrectly. Bis too though, guys who preacher curl and go like half way down. Same thing with tris, dont come up past 90 degrees on push downs, and keep your elbows in on skull crushers. I love the sit-down skull crusher machine, it kicks ass. ------------------ |
