Sup all I don't want to start a flame here or any shit like that which this fine board doesn't need. Anyway, after a few months on dieting with CKD, I lost only 5 lbs of fat in a 2 month period. Muscle mass remained the same nevertheless (measured a day after carbup, and Im basically only concerned with losing adipose tissue). I just started a low-fat (30 g a day, half of the fat coming from Fish Oil), high protein (250-300g), and a low carb diet (75-125g). My calories were the same with this low carb, low fat diet compared with the CKD. I did the carb-ups correctly and training and cardio were somewhat similar to each other. Well guess what? After doing just 3 weeks of this low fat, high protein diet..I lost 6 friggin pounds of adipose tissue!! That's right Jack, I lost 6 lbs of fat! Once again, these are my personal results, as I know a good amount of people have lost a good amount of fat on a CKD. But, CKD is NOT for everyone for losing fat, and perhaps our bodies metabolize fatty acids different than others...so if CKD is not working for you, than switch to the high protein, low fat, low-med carb diet. My approach was similar to the diets featured on Beverly International.com, where I would add a few hundred grams of carbs (I just ate mainly sucrose, since it's proven to raise leptin levels which controls your metabolic rate) every 4 days. I would diet for 4 days in a row, and then the following day or the 5th day I would just eat a box of fat free ice cream! Hey, it works for me! This diet and the a-bolics diet are definetaly my favorite! Anyone else feel the same, or am I the only pie-hole that is getting these results? PS: Someone emailed me in the thread about Varix's board, so please email me once again since I didn't get to it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

I have to say i have tried it. You feel more like shit that u do a bodybuilder when u are in the gym. Ckd suked. Low carb diets are definitely better for you in terms of health and they feel a lot better too. I say , if u are going to do the Ckd, try first doing the low carb diet and add an extra 20 mins on to your cardio a day. IF this fails then i would go with the CKD. Glad to hear u like the low carb diet too. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
